Isobel

By Jesse Steven Montalto

Blessed are those who discover my voice and embrace my words as sooth. And if you are wise yet, you would bear my precious tale close to your heart, for some day soon this memory will hold the last oracle to save you.
Deep in my past and far into your future I came and will come to know a very special child of a rare shade of reality from your world of many realms that exist in separate dimensions not entirely disconnected from my own. Isolation from your world would lead to failure in understanding my reality. Through dreams we are all able to ascend past the dimensional boundaries of space and time. Only in dreams may we steal from time and transcend through countless dimensions. In dreams all forms of life are able to connect in their purest expression. Through our astral plane, I comfort the lonely; I inspire the oppressed and satisfy the curious. There was one encounter unlike any I’ve known before. It was there he called out to me and I was helpless to answer his heart. Little would I realize how strong the child’s essence was, how he would inspire me and how I would grow to fall in love with him. It would be a love we’d share that is rarely experienced by any soul; God or mortal. It is a love beyond all human concepts of the sacred energy. It is an unconditional love as a mother would have toward her child and as timeless as true friendship. Although I am a Goddess among the stars, I am a child still among Gods. Despite my omnipotence and Elijah’s relative mortality, we are the same. I knew when I first saw him that he was too special never to see again and too powerful to remain confined in dreams. For the first time I began to question the role of my existence in intricate detail as my own origin was already clouded by forces I was led to believe I was born to obey and I then decided to release myself from the womb of the astral plane and visit the child in his reality, in his true world.
Although specific souls and situations have deliberately tried to keep us apart, our undying love and co-existence are what would salvage our worlds from isolation and eventual destruction. I have many names throughout a myriad of worlds since my transcendence and awakening of my spirits vast potential from my dimension into yours, folding our universe closer. I am loved and admired by all of these realms through those worthy of my presence. The name I cherish most is the name given to me by Elijah. Above all others, I am Isobel. I will tell you of the dream that changed the life of a Goddess forever and the unique human heart she would save and fall in love with. One day because of the divine affair between the two his heart will surge with renewed strength and inspiration unknown to mortals. He will rise to power and save the elite few of your reality that hear my words and hold his memory deep within their hearts as sooth.
His name is Elijah. His beauty is matched only by the kindness and wisdom his soul exudes. His innocent heart is a fervent, lucid beacon seen and felt outlasting the brightest supernova among the endless sea of wandering stars. The boundless might of his soul derives from the delicate nature of his purity. He harbors no ire towards any living being. How strange a miracle for one born with a spirit so immaculately resplendent in the midst of a world of vile, cancerous, wretched ones to deliver them in spite of themselves. Our kindred bonding is a mystery even to me.
His early childhood was a swarm of joy and love that came from two proud, loving, parents. Although he was blessed to have such wondrous guardians, I believe the child’s presence was so striking he could turn anyone’s heart from the shade. His parents were both artists. His mother, Angela, was a prodigal illustrator. His father was an upcoming novelist. Elijah indulged a blissful and loving childhood until the age of seven when his family separated for reasons I will not disclose to you until I am confident of your empathetic understanding toward Elijah. The child was devastated by his parent’s divergence. No one could tell what was bothering the child save his own mother. Despite the fact that people are naturally callous, the child was too mature and polite to draw additional attention toward him by burdening them with his own distress as most adults are too callow to consider. It was then I came to him. By then his mother was pained to witness the dimming of her son’s exuberant nature. His new mannerisms articulated heavy and unusual depression, causing immediate concern from Angela.  She began to wonder if he required intense therapy. She knew once Elijah was alone his true feelings were exposed. She was the same at his age during the passing of her grandmother. She was correct, I would soon discover.
I had entered his room illuminating a faint glow of candlelit solitude. He was laid silently against his pillow scathed with dried tears originating from a cool expressionless white face. His room breathed memories past but not forgotten. Infiltrating my omnipotence with sorrow and compassion, his sacred soul permeated through my vast consciousness. I knew at that moment that I would love him always. Then he looked at me. I knew then his heart was like none other. He could see me in his reality without the aid of the dream realm. I decided to watch over Elijah and never let harm come across him. A union as rare and beautiful throughout the universe as ours is not accompanied without obstacles and unseen enemies as we faced relentlessly throughout our years together.
At first the poor boy received the first brutal wave of oppression that was to come from the sad monsters of his world eyeing his bliss with a shade of green. His mother could only watch in terror as little by little the wraiths of their shattered kingdom maliciously claimed pieces of him. She couldn’t understand what was happening to him and surrounded by tainted company the hollow hearted demons of their twisted vale crept into her vulnerable mind making her decisions for her with a grip on her quivering heart. She pleaded with the disturbed at first to keep their distance from an over-imaginative child who became deeply introverted due to the absence of his father. This lasted just for so long until a wretched self-righteous teacher at his elite academy for bright youth recognized an abnormal conversation the child had alone with an imaginary friend named Isobel. Due to a technicality in our conversation that separated his experience with an “imaginary friend” from the other children, she suggested therapy for apparent psycho trauma that would eventually escalate to in-patient visits at a psychiatric facility. His mother was heart broken and I was enraged. It was then that I took steps to intervene. It would be the first time that someone of my vast power made a direct physical presence in the reality of any world in any dimension since the beginning of time. They were hurting my true love and I could not help but protect and avenge him.
Of course once his torment was over, mine would begin. The older dominant forces of the universe were outraged by my uncompromising, reckless behavior and decided to either reprimand me or destroy me. I had no choice but to remain in your world and hold it hostage. I was in terrible trouble. It was a hopeless situation and I was completely responsible but I could not deny the bond I shared with Elijah. How could one? I’m certain his parents would sympathize with me, at least. I was willing to pay the price but I could not allow him to be harmed at all by any force, supernatural or other. All I could do was hold my ground against the Gods of the ancient order by holding a death cloud over the Earth. I knew it would be a matter of time before they took me down like the cosmic cannibals they are. It was Elijah who was able to save me, his world and countless others. It was clear from the beginning that he was special, that he was destined to free us from the confines of sad specters vicariously leeching our life essence through our experiences from their darkness.
Now, random soul, you’ve heard my voice but do I have your allegiance upon my dream, our dream, of Elijah’s dream for us all to walk among the clouds freely with one another? Only you may know by the movements of your heart’s truest pulse, the answer to my question and I will know as soon as you’ve felt it. Once your truth is uncovered, I will describe this dream in flawless detail, only if the answer is yes. Until then let my words melt far into your conscience inspiring nothing but the fires of rebirth.

The Sad-flesh Saga (Books 1-10)

Volume 1: The Anomaly

Book 1: The Terran Civil World War

The Star-flesh dimension opens up in the middle of a civil world war in a Terran planet that has advanced technology developing faster than the psychological or mental evolution of it's dominant inhabitants. The war was created by a military leader of one of the most populated continents on the planet. In an escalating state of social unrest, creative oppression, over population, food depletion, heightened racism, sexism, class separation and declining education, this dark leader used an unconventional form of tech scare propaganda to psychologically enslave people of his hemisphere. He re grounded them in archaic religious tradition stirring an unnatural repulsion to the advancement in technology while further suffocating many branches of the finer qualities of existence with the uprising of ancient oppressive religions among other restrictive traditions. Eventually, as more fools blindly accepted this oppressive way of life, the war effort strengthened. After years of struggle, the enlightened advanced people were pushed out into the badlands where they were able to barely survive by their tech. Outnumbered and victim to a nano-lithium warhead backfire due to confusion caused by enemy infiltration, the enlightened ones claimed the badlands and the war ended publicly.
During the wars end, Dumas ordered secret soldiers to attack all enlightened terrans, tech corps, military tech facilities and procure any useful tech, science along with all scientists. Dumas used fear of tech and racism as propaganda not only to fuel the war effort but to secretly use and monitor technological advancement personally to ensure the success of the war effort along with the steady healthy progression of technology as it is slowly integrated into the new world government. He wanted to acquire only positive effects and equal advancement in life for everyone provided it doesn't surpass religious guidelines at the time.
Of course, the core, misguided inspiration for Dumas' war for world domination was insecurity, racism, control issues and an obscure childhood with parent issues. What drove him over the line and heightened his existing megalomaniacal persona was a fear that was born out of something cryptic he could not comprehend in a lab in Kurosawa’s Corp for advanced spy weaponry and armory. At the time they were experimenting with inter dimensional linking, sub space distortion, tachyon nano tech and cloaking devices. There was a remarkably disturbing incident in the inter dimensional tech division of the lab that resonated with all who witnessed it, especially General Dumas. Fear was what sunk into him more intensely than anyone else.

While Dr. Kurosawa and his assistants were re routing power from the sub space transmitters to the anti matter simulators to effectively control the new cloak armor prototype, an inter stellar transmission was received. There was a substantial power outage during the initial reception of the transmission. Soon after, emergency lights stabilized. Dark blue lights flickered throughout the lab. Immediately after a mixture of blinding white light cancelled out seconds later by and dark bend in the atmosphere erupted into a tear through space. Isobel stepped through this wormhole violently, with all of her anti matter rage and energy directed at a dark star being that was previously projected through our realm from the wormhole by Her reality shattering anti matter blasts. This battle was brief brutally cold and earth shatteringly violent. All who witnessed this mind splintering introduction to the concepts of multiverses, alternate realms dark star beings and anti matter entities, could only visually capture milliseconds that would only barely make sense in future dreams. For Dumas, it was a nightmare he was determined to ensure no one especially he would never experience in the future. Although, this incident occurred within seconds, a lifetime of teachings of an ancient religion by his fanatical parents flooded his psyche. To Dumas, the apocalypse had just smiled upon this planet and it was made possible albeit indirectly through the unrestricted advancements of this worlds technology. This was how the civil world war was conceived. Isobel obliterated the Dark Star Entity under the cover of complete darkness infused with anti matter rift pockets in the air surrounding them. Once the lights were stabilized, Isobel was gone, leaving all who witnessed the event lost in shock. Those who witnessed the incident were Dr. Kurosawa, Dr. hunter, a handful of assistants, a few nano tech armory technicians, sub space and inter dimensional transmission operatives, and a handful of military personnel from the north eastern hemisphere including Dumas.

Dumas was triumphant and gained more power than he anticipated due to his success leading the northeast hemisphere to victory against the opposing hemisphere adjacent to them. His main priority after reinstating heavy military control, religious institutions and serious restrictions against any unregulated or private pursuit of technological advancement in any medium was to secretly use the enemy tech and the scientists he's captured during the war to create a new biological weapon. His intention was to eradicate the surviving population of the South West hemisphere and occupy their territory once they've re fertilized the land.

Of course, during their initial capture, nearly all of the scientists were uncooperative with their militant wards, a few even stood firm after the war was over, particularly Dr. Hunter. Dr. Wajaran convinced many of his colleagues to participate in any projects they were ordered to by the new world regime, by pointing out the simple fact that their lives along with their loved ones were too precious to sacrifice as a result of insubordination. It was ironic that when the project wipe away was presented to the secret team of scientists, Dr. Wajaran was the only and strongest voice to directly object. At this time, tensions among the classes and races were high but not nearly as grotesquely volatile as during the war, also Dr. Wajaran was willing to bluff the governments' threat to secrecy by threatening to use any technological means necessary to expose all they had done and were still doing before and after the war.

Dr. Wajarans' bluff held firm until he was back at his old home in the new world empire. The new biological weapon was released in his private lab by secret red agents. He was able to contain the virus but was too late to escape it himself. His son Soora Wajaran, a highly decorated lieutenant during the war, who was regarded as a hero among the people despite his controversial stance against certain aspects of the war, took up private arms and tech to brutally search for a cure within Dumas' secret military compound through the most extreme prejudice if necessary. The initial strike would definitely be executed with shadow tech stealth tactics. His equipment was readily available to him from his fathers' labs and his own personal weapons cache from the war.

In less than 24 hours, Soora Wajaran after leaving a devastatingly public bloody trail of military bodies and with the help of the captured science staff developed a cure for the virus and saved his father at the cost of his own life. This left extreme social unrest among the people of the regime who adored Soora even more after seeing past the military media propaganda of scapegoating Soora and realizing his true noble intentions and actions of saving his loved ones and protecting the people. After an intense political gambit initiated by Dr. Wajaran against Dumas' regime, Dr. Wajaran usurped Dumas' power as world president with the support of the people including various political powers who held similar interests toward quality of life and society as the doctor. These interests along with implementing civil liberties and higher education for the public involved the reinstatement of advanced technological research. Peace was sustained but barely. Professor Wajaran, now world president Wajaran, explained the situation to the people of the South West hemispheres. He invited them to at last join the rest of the world in utopia. His message was received with an understandable respectful decline by their leaders. Professor Wajaran respected their wishes and focused his energy in rebuilding a world regime from intolerable beginnings.

The violence and resentment from the past was far from over, especially when Dumas in his demoted role as general of a singular military faction, was still determined to end what he believed posed a threat to all terran-kind. His initial focus was within the new regime, specifically, the Navi Corporation, dedicated to producing the most advanced robotics for the planet under the direction of Professor Wajarans former protege, Dr. Hunter.

Book 2: The Navi Corp Murders

Dumas needed to re instill fear to the masses, so he devised a plan to sabotage one of the latest Navi Corp android models to malfunction. Unfortunately, for everyone involved, this resulted in the cold mutilation and death of a 7 year-old daughter of a Senator. The investigation would be as thorough as it was relentless from all parties of interest. This resulted in another covert ops investigation resulting in the death of Dr. Kurosawa and the exposure of further corruption in the government by military agents. Although the malefactors were punished by the full extent of the law, the peace was left shaken and further technological projects slowed until Kyle Knight was introduced to the new world.

Book 3: Candice 3.0

Kyle Knight became a new celebrity to the regime, in an opposite direction from Soora Wajaran. He was the youngest student in the most prestigious academy for advanced technologies and science. He not only remarkably surpassed every challenge and opposition that came his way in college and as the new CEO of Navi Corporations but he took android technology and advancement into an entirely new and profound level until an unexpected malfunction occurred with the most popular android models in the home of a single senior citizen. This would change and define the landscape of the A.I. World. A sudden death occurred in house with no witnesses to the death of the old man except for the internal audiovisual recordings of the incident within the droid. Apparently, the cause of death was a severe heart attack. The only conclusion the board of directors came to was that the new models were too lifelike for the type of rich old clientele predominantly served to. A recall was put into action. In the meantime, Kyle needed to construct a better new model in order for the company to survive. Filled with distraught, angst and guilt, Kyle sought more unconventional means of inspiration. The first was a drunken query regarding intelligent life in this multiverse, the second was more reminiscent of his late parents. Eventually he created a nanotech template of a new android combined with the DNA of his late parents, predominantly his mother. This new creation was incubated in his private lab and was allowed free growth in his mansion until she became of appropriate albeit young age to be presented to a corporate and military audience for contractual auction. The government as a whole would not stand by this obscure proposal save the military. This left Kyle deep in troubled thought and the corporation remained afloat at best, providing the government accepted the earlier modeled droids since competition could not keep up with quality, price on the other hand was a different matter. Eventually as Candice 3.0, the new advanced model grew older, she began exhibiting a profound display of sentience. Gradually, Kyle and Candice fell in love and as a result, Candice was impregnated by the young professor. As soon as this information leaked out to certain private military and political factions through spy tactics, the existence of Candice and the new species was in jeopardy. They made plans to evacuate the mansion and seek refuge in the badlands. Leaving the mansion proved just as difficult as well. The science division of androids in the lab perceived the new life form as an error in manufacturing of a new android as well as a potential biological hazard and attempted to eradicate it. Not only did Kyle, Candice and a few select security androids need to fight their way out of the mansion but they had to face a brutal and explicitly violent escape from the territory of the north eastern hemisphere against the military of the region.

Kyle, Candice and one Security Android barely made it to the badlands intact. Kyle was severely injured. Candice to integrated her nanotech plasma cells into his system to heal him. Their first experience in the arctic weather of the badlands was not a pleasant one.

Book 4: The Badlands

A raid perpetrated by a small squadron of military hunter killers after Kyle and Candice, upon a family of the badlands was in progress when Candice decided to intervene. After cybernetic Nano reconstruction of Kyle’s arm was complete, Candice and the security android nullified the attackers of the family discretely. The family was grateful and accepted them as new members of the village not far from the coast. An obscure mentally troubled man quietly observed the new comers attack on the raiders, unseen. He noticed something extraordinary about Candice. Of course, he went straight to the governing town of the village to relay his strange news to the people. Because of his reputation as a maddened beggar, a few regarded his story with some concern. Many shook their head at the ragged man with deep pity. During the civil world war, his beautiful wife and 3 lovely daughters were brutally raped and killed before his rescue by general Kaye and his red brigade. It was his intention to catch the attention of his closest sympathizer, savior and hero. Eventually, Prime Minister Kaye, came out to listen to the excited ravings of his old poor friend.

Living up to his vigilant nature, Prime Minister Kaye ordered a patrol along the North Western coastline to secure their territory from future outside invaders, as well as capturing the invaders who attacked the family, now safe among the protection of their community. He set out to find the mysterious strangers who single handedly bested the enemy strike force with odd powers and extraordinary abilities according to the poor old beggar.

Eventually, once the coastline was secure and the enemy captured, the strangers were unhappily discovered by the badland patrol forces.
Candice, Kyle and the security droid (Aiko) joined the Prime Minister at his home, where they discussed what had happened between them and the North Western government across the sea. The Prime Minister was left with extremely difficult decisions to consider. The obvious choice was to prepare his military for an extreme defensive stance against a highly possible incursion by the North Western forces to reclaim their renegade genius cyber geneticist. From what was explained to Prime Minister Kaye by Kyle, the north western government was persistent in pursing Kyle, his wife as she was introduced and Aiko, his security android, either alive or functioning for data extraction and incarceration for crimes against the planet or eliminated for international security. The prime minister had little choice but to prepare to strengthen his forces for possible invasion. There was something to Kyle’s story that was askew in Kaye's mind and his wife seemed oddly out of place and intimidatingly surreal. It was an exhausting day, so the prime minister let them rest for the night and they would continue discussing plans for the near future on the following day. Any Questions regarding Kyle’s wife were now up to Kyle to answer alone. Candice was gone. When asked where she had gone, Kyle replied, "She has a reclusive family who resides in an old pre-war mansion deep in the moon peak woods farther east in the badlands. It's best if she remained as far from us as possible until this chaos is resolved one way or another."

Candice was never mentioned again, by either party. Kyle wished to keep her as safe and secret as possible, especially regarding the pregnancy that caused such an immense conflict resulting in their extradition from the North West hemisphere. At this point, Prime Minister Kaye has agreed to provide Dr. Kaye and his research sanctuary in the South eastern Hemisphere provided that any future projects would be focused on the security of the badlands.

Soon after the failed seek and destroy mission for Dr. Hunter, from the north Western Hemisphere, war would ultimately ensue and the doctor would do more than keep his promise to Prime Minister Kaye and his people. Battles never approached land after the first official invasion, however the most Violent and intricately heightened skirmishes between metal and flesh set the sky aflame with intensified repulser plasma shock blasts themed with death shrieks from the unfortunate fallen soldiers. The war came at a standstill and there was pressure on both sides to win the war before either society shatters from within, as a result of unavoidable negligence. Dr. Hunter, aside from already providing Prime Minister Kaye with his security android as his most valuable weapon and most effective military liaison and strategist was only able to add his most crude design of robotic solders as well as defensive weapons against android soldiers of his own design the north Western Hemisphere has utilized in his absence. Since there was no way for Hunter to counter the reprogramming of his now dubbed death Replicants by the enemy, he could only provide advanced defensive weaponry for the south eastern solders to successfully and efficiently utilize against this new formidable threat. Since, the south Western Hemisphere was a harsh territory to exist in because of scarce resources and elemental hazards towards survival, supplies were too low to meet the quick demand for new war ready androids. Until Dr. Kaye has met the demand to match enemy forces with more offensive technological reinforcements, the defensive weaponry and his sole active security android would need to be able to sustain a shield against the north eastern hemisphere. However, a leveling in the battlefield quickly shifted into enemy hands once the aerial base where the security android was stationed was infiltrated and obliterated with the android along with the hopes and safety of the people of the south Western Hemisphere. This was a time for Dr. Hunter to make a decision. He has been avoiding this since he had agreed to assist Prime Minister Kaye in protecting his country. He had no choice but to seek out his love and creation, Candice. Hunter needed to warn Candice of the possibility of their would be oppressors learning of the their secret location and to prepare for more evasive stealth methods to conceal their existence from any living soul and afterwards inform Kaye of his decision to surrender himself to the enemy.  The war began because of the north easterners fear of the unborn child they had conceived together as well as of the doctors intent to use his superior intellect to creative formidably advanced technological designs for the future and how it will affect the Terran race. The only way to protect their child, was now in the hands of its mother, the first and most powerful cybernetic organism in existence. The Prime Minister was initially not particularly fond of the idea in regards to honor and vengeance against the enemy as most people of the badlands shared and would instantly support their cherished leader in any decision he would make. He ultimately agreed with Hunters noble selfless plan of self sacrifice to spare the badlands from future bloodshed, however he had felt his mysterious friend was once again keeping something from him that might be personal in nature and yet may hold a universal importance deeply hidden. Nevertheless, he made preparations to contact the enemy to meet for a proposal to end the war under conditions that will be discussed in a remote island between the badlands and the north eastern hemisphere in a diplomatic setting. The old beggar, who is now a military lieutenant in Kaye's home brigade overheard the new mission and borrowed most of Kaye's buried suspicions of hunter and decided to spy upon every move he made from that point.
Since the moment Hunter was violently attacked and mutilated by his pursuers from the north eastern military, his entire nervous system was permanently and digitally linked with Candice when she injected her nano cloned DNA into him to heal his body. This change in his DNA was permanent and had integrated into his nervous systems and cellular regenerative functions in such away that he would be able to telepathically link with Candice and arm himself against harm with nano bot shielding which would also aid in any cellular, organic regrowth from the molecular base components. With these nano molecular organic devices inter grated throughout his system, they could always communicate telepathically with one another and know exactly where either one would be. They remained connected since they first washed ashore on the badlands despite the distance that stretched between them. Her current reclusion was Hunters' idea to keep her safe during the conflict between the badlands and the North Eastern forces. Until this point in the war, there would have been no reason to sever their intimate connection but now that Hunter was left with a drastic decision to surrender himself to the enemy in a firm gesture to ensure peace between the warring lands, he had other difficult personal choices to consider. Should he tell his only love that he would never see her again or silence himself completely by one of his own devices. As the most powerful being in the planet, she would eventually find him if he brought their communication to static without warning. At least by reasoning with her and asking her not to follow him regarding the situation, she might possibly honor his request. Being the only species of her kind, neither human or machine and his creation carrying their child, an unknown species which provoked the north eastern forces into an unrelenting war to find them, her reaction would be at the least unpredictable. That is a risk he must logically take, to chance expedition of his mission without her involvement, ensuring her safety and out of pure unconditional love and respect for her. Of course, chaos would ensue shortly after their last conversation before he shocked the telepathic nano cells in his cortical nodes. Telepathic communication between the tragic lovers was not limited to a mind link but could also be experienced visually through the constant intricate evolution of the cyber organic nano cells infused into Hunters' nervous system. Since this would be the last moment they would speak with each other, it was mutually desired to gaze into another's eyes for the final moment. Unfortunately, this intimate moment was not entirely private. In times of war, even more so than peace, prying eyes and ears are everywhere. The poor disturbed lieutenant kept his watch upon the strange Dr. Hunter since his first controversial arrival with his now destroyed Security Android and his mysterious wife who had disappeared shortly after and here she was in holographic form emanating from the doctors' eyes (something that was never revealed to anyone in the badlands before). The lieutenant kept this secret to himself all the way back to his hold from the doctors' until the following morning when he, the doctor, the prime minister and a squadron of Sentinel forces set sail on a battleship towards a remote island, separating the badlands from enemy territory. They were to hand over Hunter and discuss peaceful negotiations for the future of both nations. Kaye sensed an uncharacteristic unease about the doctor, which would be expected of most who are surrendering themselves to unfriendly forces but their was an odd feeling of heightened anticipation and impatience emanating from the doctor, as if he wished to speed up his incarceration. His captors were not so hastily inclined, of course, there were peace negotiations but a perplexing matter came just before diplomatic discussions. They began to carefully examine and interrogate the doctor regarding his wife, which they called his creation who bore their unborn child. The doctor claimed they both perished in battle, which I knew to be a farce but I remained quiet and demanded he be interrogated on their own soil and not in a neutral zone where only diplomatic business would be conducted. The peace was almost at our fingertips when that crazy poor bastard I made lieutenant, who had snuck aboard reignited the tension by speaking his warped mind from behind the abandoned barracks. "Yer all scared, aintcha" the crazed lieutenant smirked with an eerily crackled laugh.
"Who is this fool?!" The general of the North Eastern nation demanded.
"He's a poor crazed solider who is about to be court martialed!" Kaye barked at the lieutenant.
"I am a bearer of prophecy, General" it was unclear as to which General he was speaking to. There was a burning bright maddening glow to the poor Lieutenants' blood shot yellowed eyes as he spoke. "Why would a male dominated society begin another global war over a girl"
The atmosphere was lit to white heat. The North Eastern army drew their weapons, quickly followed by the sentinels of the badlands.
"Shut the fuck up, gaffer!" Hunter shouted across the room. The General drew a gun against the Doctors head" tell us where she is Kyle and we won't kill you and your new family "the General smirked.
There was a shriek followed by an explosion of blinding white light that canceled out the sonic storm of Phaser rifle fire. The battle was ferocious, epic and intimately bloody. In the center of the new battlefield was Candice, Kaye, the crazed lieutenant and a blood soaked hunter tightly and lovingly held by his Candice who was now violently coldly drawing the fight to a close as she infected the surrounding opposing forces with nano probes and terminated all of the functions of their major organs telepathically. The surviving victors slowly found their way to each other amid the bloody mass of fresh dead bodies and twisted metal. Most were in shock from the instant cold brutality unleashed upon the North Eastern forces by Candice. The poor crazed lieutenant crept carefully around Candice and hunter and was met with a silver spiked blade pierced through his chest by Candice. "You are lucky to survive this but you will suffer every moment of your sad existence for as long as you live"

The poor lieutenant dropped to the blood soaked floor as Candice released him from her transient silver metal arm and drew it back towards her as it easily slid out of his lacerated back. Hunter died shortly after. It was inevitable, Candice accepted as she discovered how much severe damage the bullet that penetrated his skull from the enemy Generals' shaky itchy trigger finger had inflicted. The wound was too extensive and old for her to repair. She could barely keep his conscience intact and clear enough to silently share their last intimate moments with each other in deep psychic embrace. His head fell heavy against her breast as he passed. A soft whimper tore the silence just before Candice cried out in rage as her eyes bleached white and a powerful invisible energy forced the clouds to part. Those around who were standing idly at the time took involuntary steps away from Candice.

I was consistently in awe of the girl, since that notably harsh terrible winter years ago when she, hunter and the private hk stepped on our shores. Now, I find my mind saturated with a confusing blend of fear, respect, hope and even love. Of course, I hadn't realized it until the moment after Hunter passed that she had psychically connected with me. I felt everything she felt, even a glimmer of Hunters' love for her cascaded through my psyche. I'm not certain if she had done this intentionally but in that one vital powerful moment, we had bonded on several undeniably potent levels. She had trusted me enough to continue sharing her mind with me. Hunters' death had been an irreparable wound and she would retreat back to the wilderness of the badlands completely isolating herself from the Terran race. She could already see through my vulnerable virgin psyche of what was to come. More enemy forces from the North Eastern hemisphere for her and the child she bore with Hunter. If we were in the way, their forces would be ordered to eliminate us if that meant reaching her and the child. Knowing that there would be more war and bloodshed, she held my face with her cold soft hands and an intense surge of energy flooded through me.
"We would not have needed to mind link to inspire trust and faith in your intentions and your nobility. Hunter trusted you and spoke well of you so often, I had already understood how strong and honorable you truly are. I needed you to understand the power I am giving you and why I'm granting to you. I know you will use my shared knowledge and power as a cybernetic hybrid organism to protect the good people of your nation and end this war before it consumes this planet. I will not be around to assist you as I have done before. Use your star born wisdom, your strength to preserve and inspire others and you will not only survive but you will thrive to see a new utopia in your world"
She left that day and that was the last I saw of her. She left me with similar extraordinary powers and abilities she and Hunter had. The sensations were unbelievably remarkable in nearly every aspect of what I knew of existence. Everything had changed. I had changed forever. Every part of me that I believed valid and vital to my existence were enhanced a thousand fold. My mind was constantly clear, and easily adaptable to any unexpected variable that could erupt out of life's unapologetic chaos, especially war. I could feel the millions of tiny whispers and hums of low frequency energy of the nano droids surging through my system like a private symphony of heightened consciousness beside me always. I was able to regenerate and shield myself from any physical harm. I could emit sonic phaser pulse blasts from my body at peak energy. The war was nearly over before it began again and a new utopia was in our grasp just as Candice foresaw. All we had to do was embrace it.

Volume 2: the Descent of the Sad-flesh

Book 5: Elysium

My father was the driving force behind our planets' rebirth as a universal utopian society but even his life wasn't enough of a sacrifice to stave off the ghosts of the pre-utopian militaristic totalitarian era. The war didn't end all at once. There were still countless skirmishes even after a successful diplomatic compromise for the benefit of the planet was achieved met with plasma fire among flesh and metal alike. Unfortunately, my father was killed in a seemingly unprovoked terrorist attack against the new merger of old world warring nations. At the time, my father was already a celebrated hero and legend among the worlds' people, delivering them from war, famine, poverty and social injustice. There was even discussion of a civil rights movement for cybernetic organisms at that time. Unfortunately, around the same period the old crazed lieutenant who was in intensive care years after the battle of Armarac was now rejuvenated mostly by cybernetic implants and prosthetics now had a substantial cult following of religious military zealots who called themselves the Crux. They were driven by fundamentalist, survivalist sensibilities and cloaked their extremist behavior and opinions toward progressive society behind ancient religious ideals. One of the ideas my father promoted in which they railed against was the movement for equal rights for flesh or metal. It was at the world conference where delegates from all corners of the world among experts from various fields of science, politics and other civil groups would debate on a new more efficient world order than what previously lead our planet into continuous war and bloodshed. I was the head delegate and leader of health and education, although my father had wanted me to take on science and technology as he had ultimately chosen Rahdzia Jahreem his assistant to take over after him. Of course, the crazed lieutenant became leader and head delegate of military and religious practices. There were only minutes of conversation exchanged before the explosion or rather, spontaneous combustion occurred and it happened right beside my father and a group of adoring students. They all perished along with my fiancé, my true love and any lasting stability for our newfound utopia. It was agreed at the world council that one world leader was not enough to meet the volatile unpredictable challenges the world was now faced with. Instead, a world council was placed into power consisting of all of the groups and individuals I had previously mentioned, including myself and Rahdzia, as a result of my fathers' tragic and untimely demise. My fathers' ideas for equal rights between terrans and cybernetic organisms was put into motion but at an incredibly slow crawl where any decision making process was usually left at a stalemate between opposing views. The progression of our world and its society in this new utopia moved quick but not by much. Safety was no longer an issue for citizens, nor technological advancements, or education and health but simple major concerns like civil liberties were usually struggled over by the common person and council delegates alike. Usually this was due to the adamant fanatical actions and intentions of the newly appointed military and religious minister, the former crazed lieutenant that partially prolonged a second civil world war because of his insane rhetoric. Because of the Ministers' naturally boisterous aversion to civil liberties and any technological advancement that wasn't inspired to enhance military strength and efficiency, the rest of the delegates and I were forced to protect the laws old or new that stood for the rights of the common person. We found ourselves countering any new laws or provisions the minister tried to sneak into or force upon the council that would rob the people of basic quality of life standards. This is why universal progression of our society in this new utopia was at stalemate. There were other concerns I was faced with since I was a child that I still pursed fervently in my personal time, which eventually graphed itself naturally in every aspect of my life and career. Of course, it could only exist subversively, especially during an era where people were ready to live in peace despite the insidious maddeningly infringing presence of the new minister of the crux. I discovered at a very young age that I could communicate with my father telepathically. I believed for a time that it was because of the power endowed to him by the Lady Candice, which no one beside the two of us knew of. Eventually, I began to realize that I could hear people's thoughts, see their dreams and feel every emotion I could touch upon. Eventually, I came across others like me such as my one true lost love, Ariza, who had perished with my father during the mysterious spontaneous combustion of the poor soul in the first world council gathering. Besides losing, two of my most precious loved ones, that day had profoundly disturbed me more than any event I had known. I barely felt this poor girls presence just before she had lit aflame and screamed in agony before she exploded. I felt her final moments flooding over me like a volcanic wave of desperation and confusion that drowned nearly everything around us. I knew then that she was like Ariza and I but I couldn't feel anything else beyond the Angst of losing control of herself, her abilities and essentially her life. It was at that moment that gave strong support for an equal partied world council. People were afraid of what was to come if order and peace were not maintained. This was the last chance for the Terran race to evolve peacefully and efficiently. Since, I could not publicly announce my own evolutionary state and the journey of others like me, I had to secretly search for and help those like me, to let them know that they aren't alone and all hope isn't lost as well as sparing them from the difficulties of dealing with and living among creatures less evolved than yourself. I believed I was sparing our new utopia of new fears and confusion that I knew the common person was not ready to handle in any state at that point in time. I had already founded several hundred schools across the globe that specialized in advanced subjects and students but none was nearly as enticing and elite as the school near my estate where I would teach personally from time to time. The only students accepted in this school were those who could not naturally accept the outside world as their hope because of their advanced and evolved minds and abilities that come with it. I kept a tightly trusted team of expert doctors and scientists who aided me in discovering, caring for and helping other like us who were usually, surprisingly young and diverse. Everyone's secrets were safe within my estate, which had the greatest most advanced and state of the art security systems in the planet, not to mention three huge buildings filled with one of the most powerful beings this planet would ever come to know. Also, I knew the minister would attempt to place hidden eyes and ears around me as he had done so to colleagues of mine in the past. The private school for the evolved elite stayed active and secret throughout my success as education and health delegate of the world council for decades to pass. The world was growing more bright with promise for the future as the students I had in my elite soon graduated to join the world again with more understanding and patience for their less evolved kin and made profound contributions to the new utopia by utilizing their seasoned abilities under the guise of the common individual. As more of the evolved appeared around the world each year after, I developed more universities across the region. After a time, I had decided to give the prime minister a dose of his own medicine and organize a division to infiltrate and spy on as much of his internal operations as possible. Despite, our immensely powerful abilities, the ministers' security was slightly above the modern high standard, he was military after all. His unbelievably well guarded establishment, especially against forces of nature with our abilities led me to discover a secret agenda involving search of biological anomalies throughout the region, which was a scientific concern he had no jurisdiction in. My P.I. division kept a step ahead of the minister and the military from intercepting new advanced terrans, particularly specific subjects that were targeted by the Crux underground science division. It took me awhile to discover the ministers intentions for these specific children and their families. I eventually realized that he was chasing down a very particular bloodline but little did I know how close to home this secret family tree twisted until it was too late. We very nearly allowed the minister to achieve his goal either inadvertently or by misdirection. When I heard of the accident psychically at first, before our emergency droids responded to the scene, I lead a three team medical and rescue squadron to the crash site. I needed to beat the crux before their unauthorized arrival. My special division of medics performed brilliantly as my security team warded the crux away from the scene. We learned from authorities and witnesses that the accident was the result of a high-speed altitude chase from another unidentified hover cruiser. The particulars of the incident were still under investigation at the time. Fortunately for the employees of the building the victims' hover cruiser had crashed into, the accident had occurred an hour before the first shift would begin. There were only security officials around with pedestrians who had witnessed the accident. Tragically, the young couple had perished in the accident, leaving behind their 6 year-old son who miraculously survived them in a deep coma due to apparent severe head trauma from the crash. There was another factor relating to his condition that only my Assistant Vera and I could sense, which would definitely explain the crux’s motivation to purse this poor family. There was an impressively potent powerful psychic resonance emanating from the child throughout his physical properties in particular. It was as if he were shifting or phasing in and out of reality yet somehow constant within our world. This was the most perplexing case I had ever come across in my years searching out evolved terrans. It made me nervous to imagine what would come to be if an organization like the crux had arrived earlier and captured this child. I have obviously underestimated the ministers' understanding of evolved terrans and their potential. I would triple my security and investigative measures from that point on, especially regarding the child. I placed the child under my custody discreetly and quickly. Under the circumstances, it was imperative that I would personally relocate along with my assistants, my best medical team and security forces to a private laboratory in one of the southern islands off the tail end of Elysium former known as the badlands. For three years, we studied and treated the child known as Elijah Varo. I oversaw all tests and treatments personally and kept a steady regimen of deep astral therapy. These 3 years would not only change my life but eventually I felt would have an undeniably powerful and profound effect on existence as we knew it. This child held the genetic key to the God-head. The worlds I had experienced through him psychically were uncanny, frightening and inspiring. Ideas I had barely touched upon throughout my career, my life’s work was proven true in the recent years I had dedicated to aiding this remarkable child awaken from an apparent self induced coma triggered by a defensive impulsive reaction against intense psychic traumas or attacks. In order to save this child from complete physical and psychological decay, I needed to psychically mind link with him in a way that I had never attempted before. There was something extremely abnormal about his psychic reclusion. He was not merely in a coma. His nervous system had only appeared to be subdued under conventional monitoring methods. Physically, he was stable and healthy despite his comatose condition. Psychically, he was almost completely disconnected from this world, reality, this dimension. He was existing in other worlds and as the months drew on it began to affect his physical form. His body was being inter-dimensionally dragged into another existence through his coma. It was horrifying and miraculous. The child was psychically buried under layers of what I had assumed to be merely internalized illusions, however I would quickly discover that most of the psychic chambers I had visited in search of the child's core consciousness were constructed in part by an external presence through the astral plane. I was disturbed to realize that this boy was being violated by a presence from another dimension. I had hoped to conduct a psychic rescue alone but during a multitude of violent attacks from the extra dimensional entities that were invading the child's psyche, I had no other option but to include one of my most trusted assistants and strongest student in psychic projection. The child's comma was a challenge like none I had ever imagined I would ever deal with. Apparently, the initial psychic trauma the boy faced that triggered his coma had buried all of his memories into hidden chambers created by the foreign presence attacking his psyche. The longer and deeper we entered his mind through the twilight crash of his bruised dreams and the astral plane, I began to see how methodical, sadistic, cowardly and brutally insidious this extra dimensional presence was. I called it the Dark Star. We could feel it laughing as it relentlessly tortured Elijah. Throughout the endless shadows and hollow lights were endless symbols and phantoms of the dark stars' influence. Elijah was alone and frightened but brave enough to face the chaos to discover his truth. The challenges before him were unlike any coma or induced psycho trauma I had been witness to before. Elijah was trapped in a psychic astral labyrinth created by hostile extra dimensional forces that not only insisted in utterly destroying him and tearing his essence apart in the process but they were protecting something of precious value to them in the same right. This was the most vital piece of leverage we had to counter the oppression the dark star had on Elijah. Success would come with a high price. Elijah had to go through an insurmountable amount of conflict and pain to overcome the violent oppression of the Dark Star and it's agents to rediscover himself and expel the extra dimensional forces from his psyche. Elijah needed to discern which symbols and creatures were not only positive in helping him rediscover himself but to evolve into something that would overpower the dark oppressive forces in his psyche. It was difficult enough for him to trust the silent creatures that lurked in the shadows of winding old chambers and corridors, it took great effort to earn his faith at a distance, especially when she was involved. She was the only foreign presence he would eventually sacrifice everything for. This was the Dark Stars' most vulnerable secret and treasured weapon, little would they know that she and Elijah would fall in love and shatter the doomed illusion fabricated by the dark star once his memory returned by sacrificing himself for her survival. This was the most masterful accomplishment of psychic and astral strategy against a terminal invasion of ones mind. I doubt I could have survived at all even in my age and experience at the time. This child was not only a natural born psychic prodigy but had inadvertently evolved from our plane of existence to expose and conquer the elements of inter and extra dimensional reality by achieving his own survival from a psychic and astral extra dimensional invasion. The changes Elijah experienced not only surpassed any known Terran psychic potential, heightened intelligence and acute coordination of any kind but his physical transformations were obvious as well. His eyes would glow in different shades depending on his psychic concentration, mood or kinetic energy absorption or dispersion. His pupils and iris would also change shape depending on certain circumstances or changes in concentration, mood or stress levels. All of his physical and psychic enhancements and changes were immediately apparent once he freed himself, the girl and myself from the psychic labyrinth prison constructed by the dark star and re-entered our dimension 3 years later. Although, I was overjoyed that the child and I had succeeded in overcoming the dark oppressive foreign powers of the dark star and emerged free, victorious and the child more physical and psychically enhanced because of it, there were casualties, ominous questions and terrible fears left behind. My most prized student and trusted assistant had perished during the 2nd year of psychic rescue when she decided to face the dark star face to face to bide time to allow Elijah, the girl and the others to escape while I was violently pushed by the oppressive forces back into my original dimension. I had lost complete sight in my right eye due to an aggressive psychic battle with one of the dar stars' most brutal wraiths or agents during the last year. We were uncertain where the girl had gone once Elijah and I had freed us all from the dark stars' grasp and banished it from his psyche but we knew the dark star and other beings like it or not were out there existing, lurking in countless unseen dimensions.

Candles and the twilight were his guiding stars, where memory failed to find him. The misfit lights surrounding the child were an immediate comfort to him waking into a cold and unfamiliar world. A world as foreign as he to himself, he would soon discover pieces of himself through others he would encounter in this labyrinth of never-ending darkness; many refer to as the Church. Their fear or the Church and it's malefactors' [known to the oppressed as the Unseen] the boy had noticed left them vulnerable to the overwhelming influence of despair that loomed through out every corner of the Church, where the Unseen was sure to be the instigator.
In every step of the boys’ journey through the mysterious, winding tunnels and archaic chambers of sullen ambience, the Unseen were hunting him and his fire breathing black cat named Moon, who in turn named the child Elijah. Elijah had discovered the ability to fly with Moon soon after his awakening. The cat had confessed to the boy that his fiery breath was the result of a wish that he once made alone in the Church and that there is a subdued power that is free for those who are able to listen to it's whispering heart. It speaks softly for those with a kindred spirit to find it and finally liberate its harmony to rejoice with those who share a similar rhythm. Empowered in their knowledge of this powerful secret, they set out to inspire others in Church.

The Unseen would battle them mercilessly to every corner of the Church, despite how immense Isaacs’s army of misfits and outcasts grew. The individual powers' of the misfits combined could only match the Unseen, for Elijah's army to free themselves from the corrupt force of the Church they must unlock as many secrets in the labyrinth to free the hidden heart before it dies out. In desperation, the Unseen detain the most innocent girl of the misfits, who Isaac found in one of the hidden chambers' and shares the deepest connection. If her purity is compromised, the hidden heart of the Church would grow weaker and they would eventually become overwhelmed and defeated by the Unseen.

The misfits had dispersed into three separate groups to confuse the Unseen and cover more tactical ground. The people that Elijah had freed in the secret chambers were lovers' to one another before their imprisonment. Their objective is to remain in the core chambers of the Church while Isaac saves the young girl Laira from the disintegrating touch of the High Priest and Priestess. Elijah rescues Laira from the Unseen, their masters and an outside deity that were vanquished by the combined forces of the misfits.

Close to death Laira was revived by Isaacs' love for her within the hidden chamber of hearts and resonated their energy throughout the Church embracing the wave of the other lovers' and the collective energy of the misfits until the confines of the labyrinth crumbled from an exertion of white light. They were surrounded by a beautiful green meadow with skies of endless golden dawn. Everyone was so over-joyed they barely noticed the absence of Elijah. Elijah awoke from the blinding white light and found himself lying in an examination table surrounded by intimidating monitors. He was confused and uncertain of his existence. Was he still within the labyrinth being held prisoner? Was he under another illusion? Had it all just been a dream?

He would soon learn that the dream was more real and connected with his reality and destiny than he could fathom. In shock as he attempted to rise from the table gorged with wires and IVs' he teleported himself toward the high ceiling. Alarms sounded as men with light blue robes rushed into the room. A doctor he had noticed had a familiar presence about him. Elijah recognized him as a mysterious outsider that helped him out of danger within his dream.

The doctor telepathically introduced himself to Elijah as Dr. Kaye and informed him that he has been in a comma for 3 years since the car accident he was in that had killed his parents. Elijah was told that he was under the protection of his academy for elite minds from a world that is unaware of their evolved species. Elijah wields the most intense metaphysical mastery he's ever encountered of others that share his spiritual enhancement. " Welcome home, child" the doctor smiled warmly "Your safe now"

Book 7
The fall of Elysium

Elijah is awakened once more, this time by his own influence. As he and his army of oppressed misfit creatures vanquished the Unseen, The Priests and the dark agent that corrupted the church by keeping secrets that rightfully belonged to Elijah and the misfits dormant, he finds himself in an examination table within an elite academy for those that share his enhanced abilities he discovers he still possess' in reality. Elijah realized the Dark force that threatened the girls’ innocence and his own existence was an internal mirrored dimensional war that was waged through his dream he's been living in for 3 years. By saving his memory he immortalized the spirits of his parents within him, in turn salvaging his spirit and innocence by protecting the girl as well. His soul was ready to return to the primal realm of the 3rd dimension.

The founder and head of the academy, Dr. Kaye takes the child in as his ward providing him with access to every available privilege in the school and the society in which he has boundless influential power over. He also tends to keep knowledge of his elites' exceptional abilities from the public.

In Elijah's teen years, a catastrophic event leveled the inner city not far from the academy. An explosion of atomic proportions occurred wiping everything out within a five-mile radius without any sign of engineered chemical origin. Dr. Kaye, who was famous for his reform in medical science and educational protocol worldwide, gathered a field squad to investigate and claim jurisdiction over the resolve of the incident.

Since the murder of Elijah's parents by secret agents of the Ministry, they've been wary of Dr. Kaye since his interference. The Ministry, which is comprised solely of religious and military order sought out Isaacs' parents believing them to be a threat the their cause and the interests of the "New World". The Ministry ordered an investigation of the Kaye estate by the military once they discovered they were covering up the fact that the only survivor in the explosion was the one responsible.

While in the academy the military accidentally stumbled upon Elijah and the other children actively honing their abilities through play. This resulted in an immediate aggressive confrontation between Sidras and Sidras in the military against human technological firepower. All of the Sidras barely escaped with their lives through a hidden passageway underground as Dr. Kaye distracted the remaining troops enough to sacrifice himself and take nearly the entire human forces with him to save the known existence of Evos from the minds of the human population.

The Sidras that escaped, found refuge in a distant wasteland far from Aria where they could rebuild and hide in secret. Along the way, across the dangerous plains they encountered an atrocious act being committed by vandals against a mother and her child. Azra and his followers intervened despite the existing head Sidras’ opposition. This caused a huge separation and jilted feelings between the groups that would escalate in the future.

I had decided to create another division of my team and school solely for the purpose of monitoring and defending against a possible invasion from an alternate dimension or universe. I had also made it a priority for Elijah to become my adopted child under my name and enroll him in my finest, most advanced, state of the art and well protected schools of the nation. Many of the students there, if not close to his age were a bit older and advanced enough for him to keep stimulated. The fours years that followed were relatively peaceful and inspiring among the utopia and particularly among my students, faculty and loved ones. The music of Terran progression, evolution and happiness would tragically be silenced with an unexpected, initially unexplained explosion of an entire city village. It was unexplained until we had intervened and as it was 4 years before, we had usurped the jurisdiction of the Ministry.   The event spiraled out of control so quickly that even Elijah's premonitions did not prepare us for the doomed aftermath that awaited us all. I knew Elijah was distracted by something but it was too late by the time I had realized what it was. Either deliberately or not, the Minister had made contact with the Dark Stars and the unfortunate young man who was the cause of and only survivor amid and of the explosion of 15 city blocks was just a pawn in a battleground that would spread beyond the boundaries of our dimension for endless time and space that could possibly exist. I always made certain to keep Elijah out of the public eye, especially away from the Minister or any members of the Ministry, however, even among times of peace, the spies of war thirsty hearts are never too far afield. I wasn't entirely certain when exactly Elijah's presence was discovered by the crux but it was apparent that the true agenda of my private universities were unveiled once the crux convinced the world council that my organization and I were at the very least keeping a man, who was recently considered a natural or genetic  bio-hazard, sanctuary. They granted the Crux a warrant to seize any property of mine considered a potential threat to international security or at least vital in apprehending the victim and catalyst for the huge explosion in the city as well as other potential bio-hazards or threats to the world nation. For the first time in my life, I would finally follow in my fathers' footsteps and answer the call to war.
The tragedy occurred just a few hours after the opening ceremony of the graduation I held at the flagship university where, I, Elijah among other students, faculty and my most trusted assistants resided. Like most graduation ceremonies, the school was flooded with honored guests, family, friends, student body and faculty. There was enough excitement and carefree interaction among guests for anyone to dismiss the slightest oddity. My complete trust in the security divisions' efficiency was another cushion of ease on my mind regarding the success of the graduation ceremony. Moments before the time of the accident, I was completely immersed in my responsibilities for the evening and barely had a moment to direct my attention to the disturbing sensation I felt from a psychic backlash that suddenly and violently erupted from Elijah. I tried my best to excuse myself from a climactic point of the event but I'm quite certain nearly everyone was aware that I was attending to a matter of urgency. Little did I know that spies were among us that evening. I found Elijah in the study hall. He was lying on the ground with Siras' arms around him, trying to soothe him from the mental agony that was causing him to convulse. The other students surrounding them were confused and frightened for the child. I rushed to their side and emphasized our mind link. The sudden rush of foreign emotions and scattered information was horrific. I felt another evo through Elijah but never before have I encountered such a violently, confused, frightened and disturbed live psychic presence as this. What concerned me more was the fact that I could sense intense pyro-kinetic residue from this mind link. The young man was close but there was a lot of interference through the mind link. He was in intense psychic agony and it was extremely difficult to ascertain his exact location or the cause of his distress. I had to act immediately or else the crux would find the other boy before us. It was nearly too late. Another violent psychic link pierced through the mind link. This child's power had ignited. Elijah and I received the full intensity of this second massive psychic shock and nearly knocked both of us out of consciousness but now I knew where the child was and what had now occurred as a result of his premature release of his power by an unknown tragic catalyst. We heard screaming from the people around the area where the new evo was and then the psychic link was severed after his power had reached it's climax. Elijah was in a dizzied state. I was a bit shaken as well with a splintering headache and a bloodied nose. I ordered a med and rescue team with a tight security detail at once and as soon as my personal med staff took Elijah under care.

There hadn't been a single catastrophe as severe as what we had witnessed from the aftermath of this child's premature power surge since the civil world wars. A 21 block radius was completely eviserated by the blast. My science division determined it's original source was, as I expected from, a pyro-kinetic psychic energy pulse. There was no signs of life in the area, except for one. We found the young man naked in the very heart of the accident surrounded by nothing but debris. No other life signs or structures were discovered. We immediately took the boy into our care and flew back to the university. The crux wasted no time calling an emergency world council meeting to obtain a warrant to seize and investigate me and my properties. We were in the middle of intensive examinations for the new evo, to learn and help him control his abilities in addition to providing rehabilitation for the trauma he'd experienced, when I was called to the world council to attend a meeting involving the incident in central city. We haven't even learned the boy's name yet. He was awake but in a catatonic state. Once I arrived at the world council, I was searched and escorted to the conference auditorium. I knew this would be a hung jury meeting. I knew that the utopia the world had enjoyed for last few decades had already ended. The crux had done their homework well and pressed every legal tactic against me to ensure the procurement of a warrant against myself along my legal and physical properties. I was to be escorted by the crux back to my university to begin the investigation of my business and private dealings. Unfortunately for them I always have a contingency plan. All I needed to do was mind link with at least one of my trusted psyche evos and send the message to defend not only my property but the entire evo community within and outside the university. The link was instantly shared with everyone involved including certain graduates from my schools who enlisted into the crux under fake aliases as spies working for me. The first attack was initiated as soon as I was taken into custody by the crux. It was relatively a non violent confrontation. A psychic agent I entrusted was one of their first lieutenants who passed by the troop that led me to their stealth hover jets and put them into psychic sleep, took over the hover jet and flew us back to the university. Other crux hover jets were following us in quick pursuit. Another crux hover jet intercepted the pursuing crux party and fired upon them. Another war had just begun. It was not the way I wanted us to be exposed to the world but now there was no choice but to protect my kind at any cost. The crux hover jet that defended us from their comrades was overtaken from within by former students of mine who were working under the ministry as undercover agents. Soon the entire utopian nation would melt under the fires of a war like none other. We pushed to maximum speed to arrive at the university grounds in time to secure an efficient escape route and strategy for the students, faculty and guests who were there at the time. Everyone had already evacuated through the tunnels in the sub basement levels by the time we had arrived, due to my instructions shared psychically in advance through my mind link with every telepath across the utopia that was in one way or another affiliated with my universities, projects and businesses. Now there was only one vital task I needed to complete once my remaining emergency security and medical division took the child along with the others through the tunnels. I am about to sacrifice myself for the security and safety of my now feared evolved species.

"This is where it ends Professor". The young fit long dark haired female general took aim with her disrupter rifle and glared icily at Professor Kaye, now surrounded by armed Ministry solders.

"You couldn't be more right, my dear". The Professor stood firmly as he stared back with glimmering green eyes, betraying no emotion except sincere regret.

An explosion erupted from the sub levels of the University followed by screams of ministry soldiers that entered passed the sub basement. There was barely enough time to react. Professor Kaye held his ground as the inferno swallowed the building and the retreating ministry soldiers. The general made a desperate attempt to shield herself from the deadly flames by clutching onto shattered piece of the huge titanium university door that ricocheted a meter by her feet. She was barely able to shield herself completely before the explosions multiplied and ravaged acres of land surrounding what was once the most elite, prestigious and respected university of a utopian nation fell to ashes along with the school that day.

Everything changed so quickly on that day. I wasn't in the best condition ever but I do recall all of what had occurred. For a long time I had felt an immense guilt relating to that terrifying day. I was very young. We all were still children despite our evolved abilities. I was the one who received the psychic distress link from the unknown evo who inadvertently caused the devastation that brought the world into descent on that day, but it was too late to stop the chain of events. We were all unprepared for the unexpected disaster that followed, especially me. The initial shock of the mind link left me more psychically vulnerable than usual. I was already still mentally, psychically and emotionally reintegrating myself into the physical realm of this dimension since the Professor aided me in an inter dimensional psychic battle along the astral plane against an oppressive extra dimensional force that had invaded my mind while I was in a coma for three years. I was left completely dependent on my guardians, friends and my love, Lyari as we witnessed the ensuing chaos that devoured the bright, rich, promising life we had cherished for years. I was in and out of consciousness since the mind link until we passed through the sub level tunnels of the university. I was acutely aware of everything that happened through the emergency psychic mind link we all had shared. My channel was forced completely open by the initial psychic distress call I received from the lost evo. My mind was extremely sensitive to all psychic frequencies (energies). If we had escaped from the occupation of the University slightly later, I most likely would have died.

It was a long arduous journey from the tunnel to the other side of the continent. We had no idea what to expect. All we knew of the secret tunnels were that they were an emergency route to several distant lands around the planet, one of which was the former battle ground where most of the old civil world wars took place (precedence). So much bitter blood was spilled over those lands that the soil was rendered impotent and grey, with virtually no thriving life around for miles around. We would soon discover that the reality of these neglected lands painfully exceeded all of the seemingly outlandish rumors. It was more of an abandoned city than a waste land. Intimidating charred and cracked skyscrapers tore through the smog filled overcast skies belying an ancient nobility ingrained into these sacred buildings despite the stains of war painted upon them permanently. We paused for a moment in awe of the devastation inflicted upon a once thriving and inspiring city of old and moved on after another brief rest. There was at least 300 of us as a group including, myself, my girlfriend, the new evo, our graduation class, other classes in the student body, faculty, Professor Kaye's medical, administrative and security divisions. It was assumed that Professor Kaye was either captured or executed by the ministry since the psychic link between him and the group was severed as soon as we were evacuated through the sub-level emergency tunnels. There was a shared melancholic air among the group as we continued to travel through the abandoned city. After a few hours of silence through our journey among the ruins, we heard a violent chilling shriek in the distance shortly after the psychics among us and myself felt a terrifying distress call that was not from an evo but from a Terran. Apparently, the reality of this ominously fabled terrain was full of more surprises and horrors than previously speculated. The security team urged us to remain behind with other members of their division as their away team investigated the disturbance north just passed a demolished church a few hundred meters away. The psychics and myself kept a psychic channel open to everyone in the group. The away team came across a disturbing encounter of a violently revolting kind. A small starving family of one young mother, two daughters and a small boy was being attacked by a dirty band of vagrant terrans. There were seven of them armed and encircled around the poor family crying for their lives in the mud over the malicious laughter of the vagrants. Their leader dragged the young mother across the mud by her hair and ripped her dress off. His minions followed suit as they approached and grabbed the young girls while the boy was kept subdued in a headlock by one vagrant.

"Put your hands behind your heads and step away from the family!" The leader of the away team shouted with his disrupter rifle aimed at the raiding party as eight other fellow officers strategically positioned themselves around the area. After a sudden explosion within the church, violent battle took place between the evos and the ravaging yet technology advanced Terrans. One of the evos from the security divisions away team sent out a psychic distress signal to the leader of the team escorting us. Since it was imperative not to leave us alone in a questionable barren land, the security division led us near the combat zone while half of them entered the fray. The battle was drawn out, bloody and agonizing to witness, telepathic or otherwise. The attackers were holed up in the abandoned church taking on an intimidating defensive point that had already taken out three officers from our security division near the front line. Blood chilling screams from the family of victims held captive in the church could be heard in between exchanges of high burst plasma fire between the raiding party and our security team. There was a cease fire, just before a body was thrown from the top balcony of the church, followed by more horrific screams from the daughters of the murdered woman.
"Now be on your way, freaks or the youngest of the litter gets a flying lesson too!" Barked the leader of the Raiders from deep within the room by the top balcony. Another scream had erupted soon after the raider made his demand. The outburst caught everyone in the surrounding by surprise. The new evo released a strong psychic pulse striking all of us within a mile radius. Since his instinct was to strike the raiders, they had received the brunt of the shockwave, instantly killing several of them, incapacitating the rest of their group including the hostages and inflicting us with an intense psychic shockwave. Most of the psychics in our group unprepared for the sudden psy-shock were incapacitated slightly longer the rest of the group, including myself. By the short time it took me to regain consciousness, the damage had already been done. One of the youngest daughters had been killed by the psy-shock. Their sister clutched onto her lifeless soot covered body in the rubble by the farthest corner of the abandoned church. The remaining wounded raiders, bloodied and battered, desperately attempted to flee the area but was intercepted by an old formerly friendly rival of mine, Azra, the torch wielder. Before I was adopted by professor Kaye, Azra was considered the most uniquely gifted evo and was often looked up to by other students, especially among the younger evos. The shift in attention that Azra had experienced due to my arrival in the school was not what he resented, rather it was the explicit attention of one girl that had vexed him so to gradually concentrate all of his jealous rage he had toward me and turn into a reckless, hot headed bully. Her name was Lira and we had fallen in love the first moment we had mind linked when we met.  This was the perfect opportunity for Arza to flex his muscle for all to see, Terran, evo, student, solider, teacher, rival and lost love all at once.

"Not so brave now, I see" Azra blocked the wounded Terran raiders' exit from the battle ground with a dark cold malicious smile as his right fist lit up in a sharp flame by his side before the terrified Raiders' eyes.
"Alright, Azra" shouted the remaining leader of the security division. "It's over. Let's keep moving".
"No!" Azras' eyes sparked with white hot light "You keep moving! I won't leave until this putrid stain learns it's place after it's obliterated in front of it's victims."
Lira was at my side during the entire argument, spectating with me. Although, I was physically and psychically weakened by the new evos uncontrolled psy-shock, I could not bring myself to aid the raiders from fleeing justice for the atrocities they had inflicted on that poor family, even if it meant a brutal hand of violence dealt by Azra. It wasn't long before the argument was cut short by an unexpectedly suicidal move by the raider. The raider pulled a razor grenade from his torn jacket. Azra instantly set him aflame as a telekinetic agent from the security division dismantled the device. The Terran girls, shaken from the terror of the surrounding bloodshed, silently slipped away.
"Do you see how they cower over one another? They are beneath us! They are inferior and they will be the downfall of all we have accomplished if they are allowed to roam as free as they are now, just look at the damage they have caused by learning of our existence. The only course of action for universal evolution of our species is to either control them or have them eliminated."
"That is not what the professor would have strived for" a leader of the security division protested.
"And that is why he is now dead". Azra turned his back on the majority of his stunned fellow evos. He walked away from the group with a firm confident stride as his furious eyes burned bright toward the skies with daring anticipation of the hidden moments scattered across this new dangerous future thrust upon them. "Come with me brother." Azra gently placed his hand on the shoulder of the shaken new evo physically spent from the pyro-telepathic and telepathic energy he had instinctively unleashed upon the raiders. "And let's together discover our destiny through freedom, instead of new places to hide."
Another handful of the group, predominantly made up of the student body, slowly followed Azra and his original fearsome foursome.
Lira, I and the rest of us watched Azra and his eight new disciples disappear past the grey horizon. I stayed in tight psy-link with Lira since the new evo psy-shocked the entire coastline. We were deeply intertwined with one another to the point where we had developed a subversive connection that touched upon a multitude of conventional and extra-dimensional means of communication. When the others finally recovered from the psychic and physical stress from recent events, they were faced with another separation from the group. Lira and I had decided to find our own path in the wasteland. In light of recent traumatic events, we had concluded that it would be safer and tactically sound to seclude ourselves from the shifting chaotic psychic energies overwhelming our now increasingly vulnerable world. Our brethren were confused but had respected our decision to find a new life in seclusion on our own in the end. After everything that had happened, I needed a delicate psychic recovery and peace of mind to efficiently analyze the inter-dimensional and extra-dimensional effects previous events have had on our realm in the multiverse and how to proceed from that point. There was no estimate of how long my astral journey would take and Lira was the only person I had trusted to understand and aid me in this process. Other than her presence, I needed complete seclusion from any Terran, or any other psychic influence within this dimension. It was imperative that Dr. Kaye's primary research in inter-dimensional, matter and antimatter manipulation through enhanced psychic projection was efficiently pursued even further than before to resolve the escalating crisis at hand. I needed to psychically project my astral form beyond the boundaries of our dimension to completely understand what had frightened Dr. Kaye enough to sacrifice himself for the purity of our existence in such a desperate final act.

Book 8
Elijah

Twelve short years have passed and already the world had changed drastically. Since the incident of the explosion in the inner city of Aria, the government had been usurped by the power of the ministry. Lives are being monitored and controlled in compliance with the protocol of a sadistically corrupt government. Individuality and free will are forsaken.

The Sidras remain hidden in the forbidden distant lands north of Aria. Among the misfit community there is a 24-hour psychic watch system. Two members of the community protect the Sidras and outcast humans in the land from being by patrol ministry forces that may at times wander too close to the border. The Evo Sentinels create an illusion masking their environment allowing it to appear hazardous to outsiders.

Eventually a group of Ministry forces trespass into Terra in an attempt to hunt down and rape a wandering human girl. Their exploits were interrupted by Evo Sentinels; Akuza, Quinn and Pan. During the attack one of the human soldiers was killed brutally by Quinn. This matter was brought to the high council of Sidras in Tera since the other soldiers had witnessed and escaped the attack.
Quinn was banished from Terra at the end of trial, in agreement with Pans decision as field leader that her reckless behavior has now compromised the secrecy of Terra.  She was brought to Plath Valley where Isaac, Pixy and a few others chose to remain in recluse from their kin because of disagreements between Pan and Isaac.

The outcasted Sidra were now a strong presence in the lawless human city of Gate 6 formally the city of Valis. Ra-jel, Azra, Rah and Emma-O were the head Sidras of the remaining tower where they mainly resided. Azra, Ra-jel began to notice in his escalating depression was becoming more sadistic with each passing day. Ra-jel was steadily slipping deeper into madness when he left the tower of Gate 6 in a torturous journey to find where the voice that has been trapped in his mind was coming from.
As soon as Quinn was settled in Plath she discussed her encounter with the Ministry just outside of Terra to Elijah. He and Lira were disturbed to learn of the council’s negligence toward this dangerous incident and reacting so harshly on Quinn’s actions. Isaac decided to journey toward the dome with Quinn and a few Sidras and humans to stir up the Sidra of Terra inspiring them to face their fears rising up against any opposition that threatens their well being. Despite the hesitant response from the council and the people, Elijah won them over in the end in good time. The Ministry was already making plans of a thorough invasion of Terra while Azra  had devised a course of action to wipe out the entire human race or at least to dominate it. Isaac decided to gather groups of Sidra and humans to guard Terra from further Ministry penetration as they regroup in Plath Mountain.

The first attack by the Ministry against the evo society was at Gate 6. As Elijah escorted his team back to Plath Valley he noticed thick black smoke coming from Gate 6. It could only mean the presence of the Ministry. Elijah, Lira and Raj flew toward the chaos as the rest of the team sought refuge in Plath Mountain. More reinforcements from New Metro (formally Arias) joined the great battle at Gate 6. During the fight a few Sidra were detained. Lira was one of them. Elijah and his team, who were supposed to end the battle, ended up joining forces with Azra to go on a full-scale war against the humans under the condition that Lira is rescued. The war moved to Terra where the battles were swift, bloody and leaned toward the alphas advantage. They captured many soldiers and gained all sorts of valuable information from them.

Ra-jel, who was traveling underground for a long distance, erupted from the ground in the middle of Terra during a heated battle. He continued to search for the voice until he came across a human girl crying on the grass. She had been calling out to him. In her mind he discovered the voice that reflected his own heart.
After they had triumphed in Terra, Elijah and Azra moved the war to the great iron walls of New Metro. During Liras' captivity there was a conflict within ranks. Lieutenant Wess angrily confronted Captain Jade demanding the reason to continue the war as they've been needlessly losing soldiers as well as civilians. The argument escalated into a showdown where Jade killed Wess in cold blood in front of his lover Private Shelly who in turn shot Captain Jade in the back.

The entrance of the silver tower was blasted open by Rah who had joined Isaacs’s team. Azras team were still in concentrated street fire with the other half of Isaacs team against the humans. Isaac and Quinn flood the tower with intense hallucinogenic telepathic energy against the guards. As Ra-jel and Kiko passed along the great iron wall, there was an explosion that killed Kiko, driving Ra-jel into an inescapable madness. Isaac, Quinn, Rah and the group fought relentlessly until one of the security drones fired an electro-magnetic shockwave while Isaacs’s shields were down to help Quinn. The drones were stopped by Shelly who joined Isaac in his fight against the Mistress of the Ministry. Azra and his team were attacking the building at all angles. Soon they gained on Shelly and Rah, battling the center of the tower. Elijah and Quinn were then reunited with Lira.

Ra-jel focused all of his irate hatred and energy into him as he made his way toward New Metro, incinerating any one or thing in his path, including Azra. He wanted everything obliterated. Once he saw Rah he took control of his psyche and caused him to ignite the atmosphere creating a hell on earth. Elijah leaped up after Ra-jel, tackling and propelling him heading into the fire in the sky. Elijah could see into Ra-jel, recognizing who he once was (the boy responsible for destroying the inner city of Arias) and what he has become from his vulnerable state. They were both deep in psychic battle. Ra-jel could sense Elijah's ' past and who he has become in self-pity. Ra-jel drew himself deeper into the fire and created a black hole that took him and the flames into oblivion.

The war was over. Elijah returned welcomed by the new dawn and the people below, his friends, loved ones and new admirers. Everyone’s attention was so focused on Elijah and Lira that Jade who had survived crept toward the two lovers to make a final attack. She knew they would kill her afterwards. She fired at Lira but Elijah took the shot to save his love and their unborn baby. Jade was then quickly executed. Elijah's body was carried out of New Metro back to Plath Valley in mourning and immense respect that would live on through the hearts of Terra remembering him always as their savior.

I owe my existence to Lira. Her persistent vigilance, strength and nurturing was what kept me alive physically and psychically long enough to discover the truth along with whispers of the future regarding our existence. It all began soon after my initial psychic projection into the astral plane after intense meditation. The beginning is usually a slow and delicate process. I could see myself and Lira as my spirit rose above us. Lira and I shared a permanent psychic connection that would remain strong despite the intensity of the astral separation i was conducting. I was still deeply connected to our physical world despite transfer of consciousness from my physical mind to the sacred vessel of my third eye. There are many forms of astral projection. This time I had intended to journey deeper, farther than Professor Kaye during my three year psychic coma when I was 6 years old. I had intended to push past the boundaries of inter-dimensional existence as we knew it and surpass the astral projection of any psychic who has ever lived. Faded worlds through clouded eyes flooded through my psych a myriad times with every moment renewed in it's own unique expression. At one point I felt only I had the privilege to witness our multiverse in such a specific light.
That was a feeling I kept for only a moment until I was proven wrong shortly after. It was here beyond the psychic wilderness of endless obscured hidden mirror worlds where I met her again. It had been years since Dr. Kaye helped me fight the extra-dimensional psychic war within my coma. I had come a long way since that pivotal yet dangerous challenge in my life. I was no longer afraid to enter the twilight void that binds and separates consciousness from the astral plane of what Dr. Kaye had described as our multiverse. I couldn't wait to experience these otherworldly secrets first mind. I was barely prepared or strong enough for what terribly dark, twisted as well as wondrously beautiful dream worlds awaited me on the other side. If Isobel had not found me amid the psyche ravaging shadow realms of the multiverse, I would have been consumed by it completely along with anyone remotely connected with me through mindlink. She came to me like a supernova echo through a black hole pupil /full moonlight cry in the midnight abyss. At a moment when I had nearly lost myself completely, she reached out for me.
She appeared from the deepest shadows in a blinding flash of violent blue light and soon after drowned everything in a shade that would make pitch black pale in comparison, quite literally. I could hear the wraiths hidden in countless Sadflesh agents throughout countless dimensions in the multiverse screech out in unbearable agony for less than a second before they were incinerated from existence. She held my weary face close to her soft cool naked pale breast ."as she cocooned us in twilight escaping from the touch of the anti matter energy wave she unleashed upon the dimensions that held me captive. I closed my eyes during the collision of worlds and what we had known as anti-matter. After the crash and thunderous explosions subsided around us, I finally opened my eyes to discover that we were now alone in a barren, desolate beautifully white ethereal land that inspired an awe surpassing my imagination saturated by the most uninhibited of dreams. We were sitting close beside one another watching the opaque pitch black waves collide violently into each other and stretch itself desperately towards us through the grey sand rapidly losing itself across each grain from the warring ocean. "You almost perished, you know?"  Her off world ethereal beauty was only nearly matched by her hauntingly crisp intellect, wisdom and supernaturally cool, dark confident demeanor.
Her deep black almond shaped eyes remained fixated on the raging waves of what seemed to be an endless dark, angry ocean. She seemed intricately connected with the formidable waters she had locked her eyes on. It was as if the maddening ocean were depicting her core emotions and at this point I could feel an overwhelming sense of disappointment from her.

"Who are you?" I eventually spoke up after a few long moments of starring at her and this wondrously familiar yet foreign world around us, profoundly awe stricken.

"I am nothing and everything.... As are all things throughout existence" Her cool gaze over the unpredictably torrential dark ocean remained artfully constant as she answered me with an unwavering calm disposition. "We are all delicately powerful once we discover peace within the chaos of never ending possibilities our worlds grant us just as we provide the same identity toward existence but now, despite the purity and strength of our essence, a false ancient force relentlessly seeks the demise of our identity at the cost of existence, even their own."

    "I don't understand" I hesitantly exhaled.

She turned her head perfectly centering her sharp gaze deep into my eyes. "You will" Her pitch black leech-like eyes remained fixated on me. "I will help you see what is a lost sight among countless, even among the infinites such as us. Walk with me to the black waters. It is only there, within the chaos of existence may you find serenity and liberation by the anomalous forces of oblivion colliding with the wild nature of probability."

Her lips stopped moving before she came near finishing her sentence. I wasn't surprised by her telepathic ability. Naturally, any evo or infinite, as she refers to us, who has the ability to astrally project ones psyche must have some telepathic instinct but I've never known anyone to at least grasp the concept of subversive telepathy (astral mind linking), except for the Professor Kaye and he had accidentally discovered this phenomenon while attempting to deliver me from a coma induced psychic attack from extra dimensional forces, another phenomenon he'd stumbled across during my rescue. She reminded me of the young girl I encountered in the same psy-coma but she seemed strikingly older than she should be compared to me in comparison to the age she resembled in our initial meeting which was closest to mine at the time. Now she appeared to be well into her early twenties if not barely so. This girl was either a subdued part of me, which I'd doubted heavily, an extra dimensional being or both. Whatever she is, the only way to find out was to follow her into the deadly vicious black waves of the wild ocean fighting itself to drown a land it could never seem to reach. The madness of the Ocean was upon us as soon as our feet grazed the waters. She embraced the raging waves with intimidating ease as one would welcome a cool breeze. Her pale smooth gorgeous naked body abrasively riding the colliding waves was last I saw of this wild white land before I was swallowed by the aggression of the black raging waters as well.

The first long excruciating moments of drowning in the chaos of the dark waters could barely begin to prepare me for what was beyond my astral deconstruction. After a few moments of aquatic numbing of my senses, suffocation, acute frostbite, deafening and bruising, there came instant darkness and silence. After another few drawn out moments of soft breaths and I'm assuming unconsciousness, I opened my eyes to another world saturated in shadow and screams. I found myself in a filthy courtyard of an old neglected archaic building, much like the ones in tales of the ancient industrial era. The sun had just set and I was lying in the the dirty wet gravel on the courtyard grounds toward the inner center near the old building. My limbs were stained with dried blood. The quarter moon was already shining bright past the fading sunset hew haloed over the rooftops. I remained on the ground as I looked over my blood soaked hand. Blood was spread all over my clothes and on the ground. I wasn't wounded badly enough to spill so much blood. My head was spinning severely enough to force me to lay back down at my first attempt to rise. As I lay silently resting over the cold wet hard dirty concrete staring at the strange lone moon above, foreign memories flooded my conscious.

I was three years younger than I ought to have been in an archaic foreign world. The courtyard was teeming with wild children fleeing the back exit of the old building. Three other boys slightly older than I were in a semi circle toward the deep right inner corner of the courtyard by the entrance. Their bodies were shaking hysterically as they mischievously giggled with one another. No one else but I seemed to notice the hair raising shriek that erupted from the corner as the boy in the middle reached ferociously toward the deep end of the corner. I saw her soft white limber leg stretch out desperately under the boy's stance with her tiny toes curled tightly as she struggled to keep her skirt from being torn over by the boy's grasp. She had curly short blonde hair, with icy light blue eyes, pale skin with a light golden hew. We all seemed to be dressed in uniform. Apparently the girls had the disadvantage of being assigned more revealing garb that was less secure than the boy's. For the first time since the dark haired girl in my psy-coma was brutally held hostage, I experienced a sudden rush of intense rage surging through my system. Just as it was so years ago when I was trapped in a psy-coma, before the professors intervention, I was not alone. Time, everything around me, even the air itself seemed to have slowed to a crawl. I turned around and saw her once again as I had remembered her. A petite pale moon beauty with wild black hair to match her eyes. She reached out and placed her hand softly on my left shoulder. I had never known a sensation so powerful, overwhelming, adamantly pure and inspiring. Physically and psychically, I was reborn, rejuvenated with not only her omnipotent influence but with an ancient dormant energy and power that I was born with, that all living things in this multiverse possess deep within their psyche root inherited from our star ancestors. I was suddenly overwhelmed by this awakening of power. I could feel every atom of mine splintering and connecting with the shattered atoms of matter and anti- matter colliding upon one another around us. For the first time since my psy-coma I was terrified. The wild pale dark haired girl I knew as Isobel firmly grabbed my waist with her arm, while tossing mine around her shoulder. In the midst of time frozen before us a dark matter portal opened through a rip in space initiated by Isobel. She guided us into the portal immediately. Together we experienced billions of alternate lifelines within my bloodline in our multi-verse. It wasn't until one last particular lifeline where I began to realize the true nature and peril of our existence. Our descendants were not merely from another dimension but one that was beyond the boundaries of the multi-verse as impossible as that sounds. From what I was able to comprehend so far through the countless lives we've experienced throughout the multi-dimensional space-time spectrum, all conflicts throughout every dimension within the multiverse had spawned from an ancient war between our ancestors and the unseen oppressors known as the dark stars. The collective conflict was now condensing causing a massive resurgence of the ancient war. Isobel and I had just made a front line attempt at a psychic inter dimensional preemptive strike. It all began in an obscure alternate dimensional timeline, in another galaxy like our own but thousands of years in the past on a planet called Earth. It was there, after the thousands of lives we endured, Isobel was ready to reveal the most vital secrets of our past. For some reason she had felt safe enough in this anomalous dimension to divulge such powerful knowledge unto me. We were connected intricately throughout the fabric of the multiversal time stream that had and will at some point initiate the beginning of existence. The dark stars have grown to become a potent threat to this specific dimensional point in time within the multiverse, especially if they knew which anomaly to look for, where and when to sabotage existence internally and eternally. Isobel was about to reveal the final secret of the hidden dimensional timeline that crystallized our existence, when we were attacked. Who Isobel and I truly are especially as one must never be revealed to anyone until the final strike is made to eradicate the dark stars from existence once and for all. We could hear them peeling through the dimensional barriers to reach us. Isobel pulled us through another portal to lure our unseen predators away from the hidden dimensional timeline where Isobel and I are introduced, integrated and reborn into a new purity of our existence. Our inter dimensional flight from our dark star pursuers created such a psychic ripple that it had apparently reached Lira, causing her to adamantly intervene. Liras unexpected presence created a warp in between dimensions once her psychic intrusion collided with the matter manipulative energies Isobel was unleashing around us to protect us from our dark star assassins along with corrupted dimensions that happened to rush over us. The accidental psychic crash was so manically explosive, it shattered surrounding dimensions even further and melded them into one at once including everything and everyone it contained, except for the catalyst agents lost in inter dimensional conflict, Isobel, Lira, the dark stars and I. Although, many versions of my being will always completely love Lira, my new understanding of our existence throughout the multiverses has given me unparalleled insight into other forms of existence such as Isobel. Through our elite and multiversally groundbreaking first hand conscious experience of each other over the course of countless realities  within the dimensional realms, Every version of myself fell in love with completely and unconditionally empathized or understood Isobel, so I was able to temper her rage at Lira for unwittingly disrupting the inter-dimensional slip stream patterns of the multiverse as well as simultaneously hampering or maintaining the integrity of vital realms within our existence at a possible cost. Since our lives in this specific reality were a prime target now for the dark stars to seek out and destroy to win the war over existence, I was faced with a choice to sacrifice this dimension, another or several in order to turn the tide of the ancient war back in favor of the star gods. I chose or decided on another unexpected tactical option instead but before I could come to that point,  I needed to diffuse Liras inter dimensional de-railing of realms with counter slip stream finesse. I lured the most aggressive of the dark stars into a dimension where Terran life was as vulnerable, fragile, chaotic and harsh as was its potential for those of this dimension to achieve divine cosmic beauty. As soon as we entered this specific overlooked realm, I mind linked with Lira and shared my new knowledge of inter dimensionaI manipulation at an astral standpoint so that we may pass throughout dimensions relatively unscathed and return to our realm leaving the dark stars painfully trapped in dimensionaI limbo or obliterated if possible. In order for us to succeed in escaping the dark stars, we needed to execute a deadly dimensionaI rift in space and time that would allow our abilities of inter dimensionaI manipulation to cause a ripple effect through out the current realm. We had to be cautious to contain such a cosmic anomaly so it would not spread throughout existence and utterly destroy space and time. We only meant for this desperate action to effect a specific moment in a time and space of one reality. We were not prepared for the consequences of the volatile variables that ensued shortly after my intimate but brief and violent fleshly battle with our dark star hunters turned victim. I rushed over to the corner in full force and sharply cracked the terrorizing older boy over the back of his head with a tight fist. The impact caused the boy's head to collide against the brick wall above the frightened girl, instantly knocking out his front teeth. The boy was unconscious immediately after his face hit the wall and slid head first into the dirt gravel beside the girl. The other boys took off and ran disappearing into the crowd of wild children haphazardly fleeing the old building. I held out my hand toward the trembling girl in the corner. She carefully accepted my hand as she wiped her tears away and stood close to me face to face. Her precious alluring eyes were the only colorful familiar light I was drawn to in this strange dark violent foreign world. She hugged me tightly as she buried her sobbing head in my chest. I delicately placed my finger under her soft chin and lifted her precious beautiful face toward mine and kissed her soft wet trembling pink lips. An immense bright white light erupted between us and encapsulated us as everything and everyone around us vanished from it's touch. When I awoke, I found myself once again in the arms of my lover, Lira. My renewed spirit had reunited with it's symbiotic fleshly form in this dimension from where I initially ascended to the astral realms of the multiverse. My being was not only altered from the journey but enhanced beyond evo comprehension. Although, my core spirit was unchanged and even strengthened due to the countless alternative lives and realities experienced by Isobel and I, the ultimate truth, the epitome of our lives collectively and individually in this multiversal existence, our heritage as new gods of the multiverse, that has been kept secret from us by the oppressive forces known as the dark stars has not only been revealed to me through Isobel but a part of her ancient inherited knowledge and heightened ability to manipulate matter and antimatter was interwoven with my psyche. I was now an extension of the lost anti matter star goddess, a new visceral weapon against our oppressors in this reality. I knew now that our dimension was the front lines of an ancient intergalactic war that would define existence entirely. Isobel did not have the chance to complete our union, to join as one in every realm that was vital to the success of the war against the dark star oppressors. It was now up to me to ensure the survival of our star descendants until Isobel's arrival. Our kind, the evos, needed to share the same knowledge as they could comprehend it. I was compelled to continue as emissary for the survival of the star gods and goddesses descendants. I needed to return to those I have abandoned. Our arrival was met with mixed feelings at best. The discomfort of our return was understandable. We had left them at a desperate time for our kind. How could I help them understand that our actions were necessary, especially since I couldn't completely comprehend why I had made my decision until now and because of what I had experienced in the inter dimensional journey with Isobel and lira? We all grew up together and genuinely loved one another. I knew at an early age that I was regarded as almost precious or at least unique especially in the eyes of Dr. Kaye . In that respect, I was considered a natural born prodigy among the others regardless of age difference. Any animosity toward me was unknown to me except for the unwarranted jealousy Adam had toward my relationship with lira  which was closer than any. Adam was not among them however. He and a select few were the first to separate from our kind for premature passionate reasons of misplaced principles. I was not entirely prepared for the overwhelming air of disappointment long held in the hearts of most of my old family of misfits  toward me. Lira was treated with loving embrace and so was I in Luke warm versions by those few who were truly close to both Lira and I. I was completely surprised by Pans reception of our arrival. He had basically accused us of betraying our race. Luckily, Hira, as outspoken as she always naturally was, spoke up for us in righteous strength of passion her heart had unlimited quantity of. Most of the community was appeased but slightly because of her voice over PAns. Later i came to sympathize with PAns feelings toward us initially. After lira, I, Adam and his group left our race, Pan was compelled to rise to the role of leadership. Although pan was highly intelligent, noble, wise and good, he was not a natural leader. In fact, he was hesitant to take on the role until, the group was faced with life challenging obstacles and by the influence of our long time friend, Hira, who had an inspiring spirit but was too much of an independent free spirit to look after the needs of every person in the community, convinced pan to take on the role as leader of this particular group of outcast evos. Eventually, I would deliver a speech that would undoubtedly be received at best as controversial. I was prepared but it was completely understandable if they would not be. Even if there were a subtle approach to share the lost truths of our shattered existence to my brothers and sisters, I would never choose it. Despite the fractured dimensions tied to every spirit, the one thing that each of us share is our oppression by the false fallen gods known as the dark stars. Their clouded influence from their own misunderstanding of the effects of dark matter that had shattered the Universe into countless abstract realms from the dawn of the ancient war, had kept us from inheriting existence from our star ancestors as New Gods and Goddesses of the multiverse or the verse to be once the war is over, we have reclaimed our place as free spirits of power among the stars, the dark stars, their agents have been eradicated from existence and existence itself redefined by us. Even my enhanced psychic ability to foresee events multiplied a thousandfold by Isobel's touch, I could not anticipate the reaction of certain individuals or the events that were to follow shortly after. Isobel and I could not thoroughly complete our merging of realities, so my abilities and its potential however unmeasured or even infinite in scope could not guarantee the success of my current objective. It was at this point in space and time and in this particular dimension that a crippling blow against the dark stars could be initiated by Isobel's influences through the enhanced version of my being. Isobel and I did the unimaginable. We had lived through countless versions of our lives in nearly infinite dimensions that could challenge the imagination through contact in the astral plane. This act alone upset the finite and restrictive order the dark stars had deceptively imposed upon an already splintered and wounded multiverse. We ravaged the barrier of despair, lies and limitation set upon all existence by those who sacrificed their own shortly after Shira blessed the purity of existence with creation. Out of fear they sought to exempt themselves from the evolving wave of existence and sought misguided shelter among the ghosts of the anti matter realms. Without completely understanding the ways of the dark matter worlds, they became living death, a cancer upon themselves and everything their negative influence could infect. It was Shira who shattered the entire universe and everything in it to create the event that would birth the multiverse, keeping the dark stars obscured while the shattered souls of our star ancestors rejuvenate into us and expel our oppressors from existence for all eternity as we heal and re purify existence itself with new creations of our own. I could barely grasp the truth when I first heard it from Isobel's lips but the very power of sooth itself strengthened every atom of all the versions of my being with definitively divine power, sharpening my mind, broadening my spirit with uninhibited cosmic manipulative  abilities, leaving my psyche open to a sacred profound wisdom, that was meant to be shared among all of the children of the starlight.
In the end, I decided that the best way to properly relay the truth behind our existence and that of the multiverse was to form a telepathic community conference. Telepathic sharing has never been attempted in such great a magnitude at one setting. The very idea of this gathering alone was controversial to everyone. It would take awhile before everyone would become relaxed enough for the meeting to begin. I didn't know what to expect from anyone's reaction to the inter dimensionaI multi life experiences with Isobel, I had shared with everyone. I especially could not anticipate someone experiencing psychic shock or trauma from the astral images I relayed to everyone in mind synch. It was the first image of the dark star astral wraiths that initiated a mental breakdown. It wasn't merely one individual who was affected but several and not all were among us. Apparently the magnitude of psychic energy produced through the mindlink was so powerful it had reached and pulled in minds from outside of the link. One of the foreign psyches was vaguely familiar and the other unknown psyche emitted an astral presence disturbingly similar to the dark stars.  I had to end the psylink before my already splintered message from Isobel was at least half delivered to my kindred evos. Thankful, the gravity of the message translated through the psylink was understood by many if not grasped completely. The threat of existence in general was felt by the majority. Although, the origin and definition of our place among the multiverse was not reached among my kindred evos, the concept of defending the multiverse with our natural born intuitive powers of the stars live within our flesh was apparent. I desperately wanted to share the sooth of our existence upon my star brothers and sisters until the message drew breath in every atom of their being as it yearned in my own Starflesh but a truth as delicate and powerful as this could not be forced upon the rightful bearers. It must come as naturally as destiny would to a dream birthed anew in the flesh of unlimited dimensions intertwined within the eyes of a dreamer. Hopefully, this new dream of mine would also find it's destiny in the eyes of the not too distant future. However, in my attempt to enlighten and strengthen my star brothers and sisters with the truth behind our existence and expose the hidden overwhelming threat of our ancient dark star oppressors, the unforeseen recent events initiated by the mindlink may have drawn the dark stars closer to us. I may have awakened my brothers and sisters and prepared them for an impending invasion by the dark stars but inadvertently exposed our awareness of the existence of our oppressors and their intentions to their agents in this dimension through a vulnerable entity within the mindlink at once. We were not ready for the events that would follow soon after.

Another gathering would soon take place shortly after the healing of the fallen evo during the mass psylink. This time it would not involve a mass psylink as before and Pan, not I would lead the gathering. His speech would prove to inspire many of the evos to take the vision I had shared with them seriously enough to warrant more  vigilance than usual regarding their future. What everyone was able to comprehend from my experiences in the astral world was unclear. My presence was met with very mixed emotions at best. Where others still regarded me as a prodigy or friend that had returned from deep psychic meditation with vital warnings of times to come from worlds beyond, others shrouded from me looking warily at me as a bad omen, a traitor or freak. Unfortunately, we all would soon realize that the one thing shared among us was lack of time to clarify conflicting concerns, qualms or misjudgments. It was only a few days before the first attack was made against us.

The first warning came from our renegade brothers and sisters who decided to part from us in hiding years ago and openly hold their own against the Terrans in a long abandoned city they claimed as their own directly across the sea from the new city of the Crux. The vulnerable evo who accidentally intercepted our mind link was another powerful psyche who dr. Kaye discovered toward the initial assault on our race by the crux. His natural power was matched only by my own except his abilities were beyond his control due to a traumatic experience that was yet to be revealed. His raw power enabled him to casually penetrate our psylink and expose my vision to outside sources such as the crux and its leader who we would later discover had direct contact with a dark star wraith. Adam, the leader of the renegade evos, was compelled to visit us soon after the revelation of my vision through anima. After all these years, our groups would meet. It was an awkward encounter that began with a very heated debate between Adam and I regarding my vision and what our recourse would involve because of the events that followed because of it.

Apparently, anima was missing after a very external psychic reaction to my vision through the mindlink causing a visible psy blast eruption from their occupied citadel in the center of their terrain. Adam was furious, particularly with me. Our argument was soon cut short once an attack was made by invading forces of a small crux military force. The battle was fierce and swift leaving both sides with a number of casualties. I seemed to be their prime target. My love Lira sensed their intentions immediately and sacrificed herself to repel my capture by crux soldiers. She and others were kidnapped in my stead. Bereaved with guilt and anguish, I along with Adam and pan decided to lead a heavy strike force against the crux to rescue our captured brothers and sisters and tear down the reign of the crux forever.

The greatest battle between Terran and evo had begun. We took the battle swiftly to their territory. Both sides fought viciously but in the end with the combined efforts of the badland evos and Adams citadel front, we prevailed. We discovered the source of the ministers power was from his direct contact with a dark star wraith through advanced technology stolen from dr. Kaye during the fall of the utopia. His recent instructions were to kidnap enough of us including myself, learn of our abilities and use them against us to exterminate our kind from the planet beginning with my death. With unexpected help from anima, we won the battle but unfortunately before we could severe the connection between our realm and that of the dark star wraith, anima became unstable due to an overwhelming psy attack from the wraith, causing him to nearly destroy our world utterly. Adam and a few others were incinerated in an attempt to subdue the corrupted, possessed evo, when he absorbed the pyro telekinetic powers of one Adams most trusted adviser and friend. The events of this day would haunt him for years to follow, I was able to foresee due to the quick acceleration of my abilities. Anima rose to high in the center of the sky and set the atmosphere around the entire city aflame and it was escalating with every moment. The only thing that kept everyone safe was a thick psy shield wielded by my love Lira and other psy telekinetics, but the shield could only protect terrans and evos for so long as the fires of anima intensified. I, with the help of rah Marat, opened a psy portal through the shield as I levitated myself telekinetically for the first time since I was young, to meet anima amidst the inferno in the sky. It was at that point were we would initiate the first battle of the ancient war in our dimension.

Anima had been particularly possessed and infected by the dark star wraith. Although he had tried his best to stave of the influence of the wraith, he eventually succumbed to the overwhelming despair he had been infected with. I had to fully engage him in psychic healing while engaging in astral conflict with the wraith and the negatively influenced inter dimensional version of himself that was dominant over him. I tried my best to save him along with the rest of us but when I helped recapture his purity, the guilt of what he had been subjected to was so strong he desperately moved to end his own life. Unfortunately for me, I was caught in a psychic link with him while he severed the astral plane that connected not only the dark star wraith to our dimension but other versions of my being I was directly link with since my experiences with Isobel. I was dying.

While Anima adapted himself to the labyrinth of colliding dimensions i created in the astral plane, he was able to learn matter and anti matter (inter dimensional) manipulation through his own psychic mastery of enhanced astral projection from the borrowed influence of my advanced interdimensional psy powers derived from my recent private astral experiences with Isobel. Despite his trauma and damaged vulnerable emotional state, Animas' instinctual psychic tact and intellect were intimidating. It was a great risk to display any sort of inter-dimensional psychic abilities given the state of mind he was in but with my help he expelled the dark stars from our dimension by sealing them in my astral labyrinth of colliding dimensions just before erasing them, himself and it forever.

The sky was clear. Our planet and everyone in it was saved. I breathed a sigh of relief and exhaustion as I fell to the ground. One of the flying evos caught me in mid fall. I was able to see my beloved heart broken lira weeping over me with kisses as she grasped my weakened Sadflesh. I was barely able to kiss her in return as my astral body fell away from my Sadflesh and joined with the alternate dimensional version of myself Isobel and I had salvaged from our first battle with the dark star wraiths. Although my time among this dimension with these particular star children were over, the war was far from done and the threat of the dark star oppression among my kindred would return stronger than ever before but I felt a light from lira just before I crossed into the shadows of the astral plane. There was a new, beautifully, powerful purity within her that this dimension had yet to behold. They were not without guidance from the stars and this time the source of our ancestors would burn fierce through any of the unseens and their abysmal touch. This new hope birth from liars love when she rescued me from dark star wraiths in the astral battle where I met Isobel.

The Secret of the Sadflesh.

My father was a visionary, a savior, a hero to many and to previous legends he was a prodigy. I understand these facts. I have come to terms and accepted that nothing I could possibly even hope to dream of could ever come close to resembling a glimmer of the faintest memory of what my father Elijah had accomplished in his brief but intimidatingly influential life in our dimension. He died saving our world from instant annihilation before I was born, but I love him with all of my being. Although, I am as desolate as the sub- terrans as far as evo magi is concerned, I feel my fathers ever lasting and loving presence through every wondrous terrain I venture through, every precious individual I encounter whether they are Terran or evo. Even still at the age of 17, I am still barren of magi star powers, being unable to defy gravity, mind-link, shape-shift or manipulate matter as my father began to discover himself, I can sense his presence on every tree, stream, rock, wind and smile among all who exist because of his selfless sacrifice. I understand all of this and I am so grateful for everything because of it, however, I still remain unsatisfied with the world around me as it stands but I'm also curious about it as well. It is this curiosity that would put me at odds with the evo society I am apart of and force unlikely friends to come to my defense for reasons I would never understand until too late.

Because of what my father had accomplished in the past I was considered as royalty to the entire evo community. I was allowed by my guardian and ruler of the evo lands pan to venture on my own throughout the new bad lands without supervision to explore my own curiosity and entertain my own endeavors. I never wondered why a close friend of my deceased parents, ruler of all evo-dom and my sole guardian would have allowed complete freedom of the fallen savior of the evos only child to wander free until I was caught utilizing a forbidden ancient human technology in the bad lands by the evo black guard. It was then when I knew who my true friends were as they came to my defense however unlikely or untrustworthy of companions they had seemed to be. Apparently, I had caused quite a commotion among the evos in our society by innocently violating one of our most mysterious of laws. Sub-terran technology was forbidden and was a symbol of our past oppression by them once we we and our abilities in this world were discovered by the sub-terran, dominant race at the time.

I was arrested by the black guard deep within sub Terran territory for acquiring an ancient sub Terran flying device and utilizing it to travel across the waters within and throughout the boundaries off both terrains. I was held in a private chamber to await a conference with myself and the council regarding my most recent violation of evo law. Since not many in our community had violated any laws set forth by the founding members of the evo circle, my trial was anticipated to be an influential event toward our relatively isolated society. I was kind of in deep shit. That concern was relative as well being the daughter of one of the legendary founders of our society. This would be fascinating at best for everyone else to see. Betwixt fortune, my supposed friends were included in the arrest with me for reasons yet to be truly revealed. However this vital information will prove more useful later after my trial.

Pan was the last to walk across the conference hall and reluctantly sit at the head of the interrogation chamber. He glared at me with such intense disappointment across the hall. If I were anyone else or have not experienced the things across my excursions I might have crumbled among his stare but I had witnessed too much divine beauty among my time in the Subterran lands to be intimidated by false ritualistic restrictions by an out of touch government, especially one that I have inheritance from. This platform of accusation was mine to manipulate without their preparation. It wasn't planned but it has been building up for years. Spirits help them from what i would translate unto them now.

"What was your purpose in the badlands?" pan asked me, almost half- heartedly.
"There was none" I replied coldly.
He chuckled softly " so you admit to voluntarily breaking one of our most sacred laws?"
"I have no reason to hide my actions or intentions to anyone" I answered quickly but casually with a breath of confidence I suppose. Pan paused for a moment as the rest of the council surrounding us filled the hall with excited whispers as they turned to one another in disbelief at my calm and carefree demeanor regarding the circumstances of this trial.
Before Pan was able to regroup and interrogate me further, the eldest and most respected of the council spoke up directing his inquiry heavily upon me as he analyzed me in delicate awe.

"What is it that you so desperately intend to discover among the old ruins of the crux city?" Balar, the oldest and wisest of the council asked me with a thoughtful glimmer in his eyes belying unconditional understanding as he spoke. "You of all children in this generation should know the significance that city represents and why it is forbidden to enter. Even sub humans know well enough to live on the outskirts of the city ruins"

"There is something there my father didn't want to remain buried" I retorted.

" and. what do you believe this dormant information is that you seek?" Pan asked desperately.
    I smiled and answered " we'll, i wouldn't know until it's uncovered right?"

Pan snickered cynically and answered, " well, I believe, given your statement that we can conclude that your violation of protocol was inspired by an emotional response to your parents struggles and demise. The council will look any of your findings over and until we come to a conclusion of our investigation, you will. Be confined to your chambers until further notice. End of council. "

It was then that I realized that I was completely on my own, until a few hours later; I was proven wrong on this assumption of my predicament.

On that note, I was of course confined to my chambers. That was to be expected. However, I was not prepared for a breakout, especially a breakout concocted by a particular group of peers. I never made friends among my own kind very easily, especially among those close to my age. In fact, I virtually had no friends at all; except for maj. Sweet old Maj. She was almost as misunderstood as I in the eyes of our elite community. That was how we developed such a strong bond initially. Maj loves to observe nearly every aspect of life around her. Nearly everyone calls her the watcher, usually whispered behind her back but she hears them. She never says anything, partially because no one bothers to speak with her but she absorbs everything around her and being the oldest evo among us, she developed an astounding well of wisdom from her experiences, patience and fair judgements. I'm the only one who speaks with Maj and the only one who listens to her and respects her for her wisdom, bottomless heart, humor and immense knowledge. Once we're together, we seem to become more alienated from the community than when alone. I could hear them sometimes as well " oh, there is the poor crazy daughter of Elijah the chosen being kind to the poor old senile watcher, Maj". It was Maj who told me of the old human city ruins deep within the new badlands and the mysteries and speculation that surround them still. There is a hidden truth within those old war battled walls that my parents took with them to the hereafter. The Maj knew my parents since they were children. She's lived through the evo rebellion and the wars that birthed the revolution just as Pan and the council had. Maj knew more than most regarding our history, so if there was anything she felt worth investigating, then something of precious value was waiting to be unveiled. I couldn't let anyone in the council know that I was inspired by Maj to enter the forbidden ruins of the badlands, especially Pan. He would be the only one who'd be more inclined to believe that Maj wasn't really senile. Among a few others, in and out of the council, Maj and pan were at one point or another very close to my parents. Now the Maj had my ear and my heart. Being my only friend and one I respected unconditionally, I took credit for everything and left my endeavors as shrouded in mystery as the ruins of the new badlands. There I was; a prisoner in my own chambers. I felt like such a spoiled little whelp. What is it I deciphered from an aged shredded book in one of the old buildings in the ruins? Ah... A princess. There was a story about a young maiden locked in her room for falling in love with a peasant I believe. Although, I've never had a romantic encounter, I often wondered what that must be like. I suppose if there were a story about me it would describe a princess being punished for simple exploration. What a boring story that would make. I wonder sometimes if I should give in to the advice of Pan and the council and become more involved with the community ( as if they would accept or understand me with an open heart and mind) and withdraw from my curiosities involving the past, our past, humans and any hidden truth begging to be unearthed by capable will. I just couldn't succumb to such a mundane existence. I would be sacrificing any opportunity to meet my destiny. I wouldn't be myself and if one cannot be who they truly are, wouldn't that be an affront to existence? I'm starting to go off into tangents agent. Perhaps I am a bit insane. I don't remember my mother ever going off topic and my father wasn't particularly known for such an odd trait in character but who knows what really goes on internally unless your a telepath. He was after all, the evo who discovered the multi verse and the astral realm in dreams. This is why I needed so desperately to uncover the mysteries maj had proposed were hidden deep within the old human city ruins of the new badlands. What was my fathers unfinished quest really? Many believed it was to free our kind from the oppression of humans but the further I look into the badlands the more it seems as if that war was merely a small distracting skirmish from an ominous presence my father was trying to guard us from. I would soon discover that I wasn't alone in my quest for the secrets of our past.

It was raining heavily as I gazed through the blaze screened window in my new temporarily confined chambers. I had barely noticed the guard enter to bring food until he spoke.
"Please accompany me to the courtyard, your highness" his cold request struck me with bewildered curiosity. Although his request was very formal and technically appropriate, there was something too rehearsed about it and his tone was so rigid it seemed foreign. There was also no explanation of what the matter was or who sent for me. I understand prisoners are not allowed certain rights or knowledge but I was no ordinary captive or member of the community for that matter. This could not be ignored.
"Guard" I spoke softly and cautiously kept a fair distance from him. Who knows what kind of powers he had or if he were acting of ill intentions, his own or otherwise "Who has sent for me and why am I to follow you to the courtyard"
I observed him sweat just over his brow as he paused seemingly struggling to find a way to answer me until he returned to his robotic tone " I've been instructed by high counselor Pan to return you to your home. If you will please accompany me your highness." He waited for me to walk in front of him. I shrugged and walked toward the door past him with relief. I had a feeling however upset or befuddled the council was by my previous endeavors, I wouldn't be held or reprimanded for too long. They and especially Pan hold my parents in high regard. I am under the age of Ascension still and I didn't commit a serious crime, I merely wandered off into a forbidden area. For a moment it seemed as though I was mistaken for scorching the entire forest with a pyro telepathic wave.

We didn't walk very far from the chamber when I had caught a glimpse of a very familiar figure turning the hall away from us carrying a bunch of scrolls and books. She was very slender with wild curly hair, freckles and green eyes. I've seen her before in my astral theory class. What is she doing in the middle of the afternoon wandering the halls of the council house unattended with notarized documents? Curious. Perhaps I wasn't the only one who broke the law today. I did notice her wearing an assembly cloak. Perhaps she is here legitimately after all but I would have known if there was an assembly scheduled for today. I can only imagine it must be an emergency council being prepared. I hope it wasn't my doing. She would be chosen for such an event by the school or council. She's considered the most powerful, gifted and clever evo since my father and look at me, I'm so bereft of magi I'm practically human. Sometimes I wonder if I really am my parents daughter. Anyway, enough feeling sorry for yourself. We're about to go home. Home sweet tree home. The first thing I'm going to do is warm up the bath and pollute it with multi colored bubbles.

"We'll take her from here. Thank you" An extremely familiar and snobbish voice ensnared us just as we entered the courtyard. I was befuddled beyond words. She was another classmate of mine who took telepathy with me and made every second in that class excruciating for me in particular. It's bad enough that I'm struggling with my magi levels but she (Ruj is her name by the way) makes it a mission not only to surpass everyone in the class, which is fine, but then berates and mocks me every time I fail a practical exam or project. I hate her with endless passion.

"You're going to have to put that eternal hatred aside for now precious, unless you want to spend the rest of the week snug watching the world pass you by from a blaze shield while bumpy here feeds you every sun up" She had the nerve to wink at me. I really hate her. Damn her golden eyes. She obviously missed the chapter on ethics in telepathy.

"Stay out of my head!" I nearly screamed at her.
"Gladly" she mused "but you might want to keep it down lest we're all discovered. Also, I'm not certain how long I can hold bumpy in the shade"
"What"!? I also never liked the stupid clique talk her and her followers droned to each other. "Speak Evo!"
She rolled her eyes and sighed " You're glazed eyed new boyfriend I put the shade on. We really don't have time for this nonsense " She entered my mind again. "If you want to get caught again and go back to your little cage, by all means but please do me a favor and wait until I leave to shout for your captors or servants or whatever you wish to call them."
"Gladly!" I mimicked her as I raised my voice and leaned in toward her snobby wretched smug looking face.
"Pffff" She huffed and smirked as she rolled her eyes back toward me "I knew she was too stupid to waste our efforts on. We should just leave the little princess to place martyr in her own sandcastle" She was still in mindlink with me but speaking to someone else now. I found out who soon enough.
"No" came another voice in the mindlink "both of you settle down or we'll all be discovered. A hand came out from behind me an gently reached calmly on my shoulder. It was Muse, the evo I saw in the hall earlier. "Casey. I promise we'll explain everything but for your sake and ours please trust us."
Under the circumstances, I nodded in agreement and allowed them to lead me away from the citadel.
"Oh and you may report to your quarters now good sir" Myandi whispered in the guards ear "Your welcome" she sang to me as we followed the taller evo away from the council house.
"Excuse me Muse" I ignored Ruj completely at this point "The guard is one matter but walking past a mass of our fellow evos surrounding the citadel without being noticed is pretty ambitious."
"I'm keeping our identities blurred visually and telepathically by psychic shield" Muse answered "I've also chosen specific routes away from the council house to avoid evos of high level magi, particularly high profile council members such as Pan"
"Is that why you were passing through the corridors of the citadel? Taking note of which council members would be out and about on routine business?"
"Yes" she seemed hesitant to confirm my assumption.
"She saw you?" Ruj was shock stricken.
"I was distracted" Muse explained uneasily.
"How does the infallible Muse ever succumb to distraction?" Ruj teased
"There was something I noticed in the scrolls that caught my attention" Vene answered "I'll explain once we're back at the holt"
"Where are they now?" Ruj inquired further.
"I left them in the Skye" Muse smirked.
    "Oh" Ruj played back.
"And how was the weather?" Ruj chuckled.
"Turbulent as always" they laughed together.
"I'm sure this is very amusing but may I point out that we are approaching a crowd" I warned "we might want to be a bit more vigilant wouldn't you agree?"
"Don't get your underclothes in a tussle precious " Ruj teased "unless there are no ominous distractions we're safe under the invaluable talents of Lady M".
"She's right" Muse defended me "although the routes are relatively safe from encounters with high magi evos, I cannot guarantee the off chance any surprises would befall us, especially once it's discovered that Casey is absent from her chambers".
Although I hadn't the slightest idea where they were taking me or why they had gone to such lengths to rescue me from confinement, I felt confident enough to go along with them, especially with Muse in the lead. It was better than wasting away for a week or two in a detention chamber, however comfy it might seem. We continued to move carefully among the crowd, watching our thoughts all the while.
"Maj!" I nearly shouted out loud.
"Be careful!" Ruj warned fiercely "I can't understand why you chose such odd company anyway. That old woman is so cracked, I'm surprised she still has control of her magi"
"Watch your tongue " I threatened "I'm not going anywhere without her anyway"
"This is ridiculous!" Ruj mind waved "why are we going through all of this tr.."
Muse quickly interrupted Ruj "I'm sorry but we simply don't have time for any further distractions or detours either of you. We must not deviate from the plan. Casey, if you need to speak with Maj, you may do so once you're safely out of the court square. Ruj, please stay focused or else we will all find ourselves in council detention chambers. Okay, let's be on our way then."
Ruj gave me one last vicious look before we continued on our path. It was about 3 hours of walking before we had arrived soundly to our destination past the thick of the wood outside the council.

"Don't anyone move!" Shouted a forceful voice from a distance behind us. We stopped dead in our tracks certain both Muse and Ruj were as breathless as I. A moment passed and then "Skye!!" Myandi screamed into to woods behind us. Boyish laughter echoed eerily from the trees. A small figure rose from the treetops and flew over to meet us on the ground. He was very young with long wild hair and a mischievous grin.
"Aren't we a tad jumpy this evening" Skye teased as he hovered around us.
"You had better stay up there if you value your life"Ruj threatened playfully. Vene couldn't keep from laughing out loud much longer.
"And you!" Ruj scolded "You must have known it was him from the beginning, you witch!"
"I just wanted to see if you were paying attention to your surroundings" Muse answered with an uncharacteristic smile
   "Thanks teacher." Ruj smiled back.
"We should hurry to meet Var before it gets dark" Muse steered us back to business and asked Skye "would you do the honors my young one?"
"I just love it when you call me that" Skye flirted sarcastically " Ready ladies"
"For you? At the drop of a hat!" Ruj failed to match Skye's sarcasm.
I could feel the air wrap around me as we were levitated from the ground into the evening sky. I always loved the feeling of complete weightlessness of my body when a skilled telekinetic lifted me into the air. I often wish I were able to achieve such a feat on my own.
"So what took you girls so long?" Skye's playful smirk still beamed.
"We can't fly yet. Remember fool?" Ruj quipped coolly "It takes longer for evos who focus on more cerebral related magi" Muse snickered.
"Oh no" Skye feigned panting "the strain of holding you all is going faint. I'm slipping..."
I felt just a momentary weight added on my body and shortly after I was weightless again. I shrieked involuntarily.
"I swear to the stars I will turn you into a human!" Ruj screamed.
Muse laughed with melody "knock it off everyone, we're almost there" She pointed ahead to the waterfall we were approaching.
"You're finally here" a tall handsome lean dark haired man boy met us around the side entrance of a cave just under the small waterfall.
"That's what I said" Skye laughed alone.
"I'm Var" he shook my hand firmly "I'm glad you were able to come here without too much trouble"
"So am I" I couldn't help but answer shyly. His eyes were intimidatingly sharp and cool. I quickly composed myself as soon as Skye lowered Ruj to the ground. There were busy teasing each other at the time.
"Well" Var began "if you'll follow us upstairs we'll start to explain why we rescued you from council reprimand and why we need your help"
I followed them toward what seemed to be an evo inspired stone spiral stair case. Obviously a shape shifter had been here at some point. Something was oddly familiar with the design of the walkway. We wasted no time once we reached their conference lounge. Although Var seemed to be the oldest and respected as such by all, Muse was definitely in charge here.
"Casey. You're rebellious venture into the badlands was more than just inspiring to us. It was also a confirmation to do what we had planned to do since my ominous encounter with an entity from another dimension during my astral projection session with Master Kenji a week ago. Given that contact with an interdimensional being through astral projection is rare in itself and should be investigated by the council, what was disconcerting about this encounter was that master Kenji was completely unaware of my contact with another entity yet we were psychically connected throughout the entire session. Either the entity itself, the dimension itself or some outside force wanted either me alone to witness this psychic event or there is something else related to the event that either intentional or inadvertently caused a psychic blindside over master Kenji regarding the incident. Whatever the case it's imperative to investigate this matter further, even if it means on our own and without the knowledge or approval of the council, especially when regarding what I came across from some of the old legend scrolls I retrieved from the council hall relating to your father".

"My... My father?" I could barely hold myself together "What .... What does it say!? May I see them please?"
"Of course" Muse nodded to Var.
Var carefully handed me the old scrolls and I treated them with the same caution.
"If you'll read from the 7th page of the 3rd paragraph of the Crux War, you'll notice an entry made and marked it seems by your parents that is not included in the legend we all have learned from passed down tales from our elders."

"Some of these passages are in my mothers' handwriting.... And my fathers'" I couldn't believe what I was looking at "but that's impossible. These entries were dated after his death. There is something by familiar about the handwriting on some notes next to my parents' entries. It's Majs'. We need to speak with her regarding these scrolls. If this is in any way connected to your encounter with the entity last week Muse, then we must find her now".

We set out to find Maj in a team of three, Myself, Skye and Muse. Skye flew us back to our village past the woods while Vene kept us under psychic veil. It was without question that my absence was noticed and there were sentinel evos and scouts searching for me as we flew. It took a bit of time for us to relay the urgency of Maj s presence at our holt to her. Not only was she a severely misunderstood individual among the community but she was a private person and often did not travel far from the village. We had to have Vene share her experiences with the entity she encountered through mind linking with Maj. Maj was shocked and horrified enough by the images to accompany us to the holt to help us interpret the original version of the legend scrolls and devise a plan to enter the new badlands unhindered so we can unearth the mystery linked between Muse experiences and my late parents.

It was disturbing how similar Muses experiences were to the unfamiliar original entries written by my parents. What was written by my parents were interdimensional experiences my mother and father experienced together during a prolonged astral journey in seclusion in blue mountain before I was born, which was the result of my birth before the great evolian utopia. There was a third party an anti matter star goddess my father referred to as Isobel who was as deeply connected to him as my mother was and was his direct link between interdimensional existences and our own.  Not only did Muse encounter Isobel directly last week through astral projection but she was given a warning. Death is coming. Guard yourself. It was painfully revealed by Maj that she was present when my mother made these entries in the scrolls. She had been possessed both by Isobel and my fathers spirit which would explain his handwriting in certain entries. She was also present during her untimely death in the new badlands. Pan and other members of the council kept the true nature of her death as well as her entries a secret given the impact such knowledge would have on the evolian community and the rest of the world for that matter. My mother Lira experienced an intensive psychic link with the entity my father described as Isobel. When the link was severed, my mother died in Majs arms. We were going to find out what exactly killed my mother that day. Before we could proceed, we need help from another evo that had a close encounter with entities from other dimensions besides my parents and Muse. We needed the evo who inadvertently provided Anima with power that almost destroyed our world and ultimately killed my father. We needed to find Rah Marat but in order for us to bring him along with us we had to convince his son, Tal Marat. Rah Marat much like Maj seldom left the village as well. He was one of the few evos that fought alongside my father who developed post traumatic stress syndrome from the events witnessed. Convincing his son to let Rah accompany us on a forbidden and potentially dangerous mission was going to be difficult. Tal was not only deeply concerned and responsible for his fathers well being but he was considered a well behaved, patriotic and active member of evolian society. There was however a weak link in his evolian standards. He was a profound admirer of my parents, which is what most of the group, particularly Muse took advantage of. Once we shared our detailed knowledge regarding our mission with him through long range telepathy courtesy of Muse of course, he and his father was on board especially, especially when it was made known that Maj and I would be included or directly involved. We decided to meet on the outskirts of the new badlands even further away from the village where I was caught red handed flying an old forbidden human air transport device.

"She's only going to slow us down!" Ruj forced herself in between Casey and Var, keeping her posture firm and commanding with her back sharply turned to block Casey.
"She's the only one of us who knows the layout of the old abandoned human cities", Var yelled back. He naturally towered over everyone. As he moved his head down, nearly nose to nose with Ruj, he stared dominantly in her deep violet eyes until she turned her head away from his overpowering glare with a huff and sigh of disappointment.

The new breed decide to venture forth toward the new badlands when they are intercepted by human patrol from Gate 6. Their intention was to enter the forbidden zone of the new badlands unhindered by either human or evolian society. Its already been established that the zone was deemed forbidden by the high council around the time of Liras death. The new breed was to uncover the mystery of Liras death and its relation to the forbidden zone of the new badlands. It was agreed within the new breed that they would accompany the patrol forces to Gate 6 where they would have council with Shelly, the leader of Gate 6. There they would learn of the secret emergency quarantine placed around the center of the new badlands once it was discovered that Lira had died mysteriously in the ruins. Although it was forbidden for either human or Sidra to enter the old city ruins of the new badlands, Shelly agreed to allow and aid the new breed in their investigative journey into the forbidden zone. She assigned Tetsu and Hira to join them in their quest. Tal Marat reluctantly stayed behind in case the new breed found any trouble during their quest. His task was to aid them with reinforcements if necessary, human or Sidra. An old abandoned scanner created by Kyle Knight during the old human Utopia, utilized just before the fall of Elysium by the minister of the crux to search for and experiment on evos was discovered still active in the sub basement levels of the main battered citadel of the old city ruins of the new badlands. Apparently, there was more than one of this machine that was duplicated by the crux during the battle of the new badlands. This machine had contacted something from another dimension that killed Lira and was waiting for an opportunity to enter this particular dimension. Unfortunately, for the new breed, they provided this dark star entity with just such an opportunity. Upon their arrival, they were met with countless psychic disturbances and illusions the deeper they wandered through the forbidden zone particularly the citadel. The citadel itself morphed into a psychic labyrinth. Moments after they split up into two teams, Casey, Skye, Tetsu and Maj in the upper levels of the Citadel and Var, Muse, Hira, Ruj and Rah in the Sub-basement levels, they all made contact with a dark and violent force. Muses group was ensnared in a multi dimensional psychic labyrinth. Muse had to sacrifice herself to save the group. The dark stars had gained entry into their dimension. Var was abducted and reappeared on the upper levels near Casey while she was separated from the group. Var made love to Casey while she was unaware that a dark star had possessed him. He disappeared afterward and both groups reconnected at the center of the Citadel. They faced the physical death of Muse and Rujs merging with Muses psyche morphing them both into Myandi. This is where they met Isobe,l who helped them fight their way through the dark stars and their inter-dimensional psychic attacks to escape the Citadel. They met with the human army of Gate 6 along with the Evolian army. Tetsu called for back up as soon as Muse sent him a distress call before she died at the hands of the dark stars. It was revealed that Pan and his personal guards had not returned from the Citadel of which they entered to mount a rescue fir the New Breed. Pan and his personal guard would emerge along with Var as possessed pawns of the dark stars and their wraith army. Violent battle between the dark stars and the terrans erupted instantly. Isobel lead Casey and a select few Sidra and humans to make an inter dimensional offensive attack on the dark stars fighting them throughout time and space while the rest of the terrans held their own against the dark star wraiths in their own dimension. In a lured dimension cleverly concocted by Isobel, the dark stars were narrowly defeated. Var and Pan were killed along with the dark star wraith army and other oppressive agents. Isobel disappeared. The terran dimension was free from dark star oppression for the time being. Casey became the first world leader in a long time to be elected by the people. She kept a form of the old rule of forbidden technology along the lines that it never be used to interfere with inter dimensional contact or travel. They now faced a brave new exciting step into a multi-versal existence filled with promise and new dangers.

Book 9
The Secret of the Sadflesh.
Written and created by
Jesse S. Montalto

The world has changed once more since the liberation of the Evolians or Sidra and the death of Elijah Kaye. Evos have since dominated humankind under diplomatic rule. However, some resentment still remained within the human communities toward evos for their decreed outlaw of artificial intelligence and abandoning human cities. Other than this, the world was in the greatest state of utopia ever to exist.

All of this would soon change once more in a bleak direction forestalled by only one. Her name is Casey Kaye. Since her mothers' untimely death early in her years she'd been sired by Pan who has assumed leadership of the Sidra population. The loss of both her parents lingered within her through her teenage years inspiring curiosity of the world that her father gave his life to protect, as she knows him through her mothers' memories shared telepathically. In this state of mind she understands her own vision to spiritually connect with the world around her, especially that which is dormant.

She would soon discover along with her closest friends that not only did the leading members of their society not share her thirst for knowledge but also it would not be tolerated. Her closest friends who have been true to her in every walk in life since her mothers' death also known in their community as the New Breed were caught with Casey riding through an abandoned human city on forbidden human hover bikes.

During their trial and sentencing, Casey had embarrassed Pan in front of the entire council questioning his close-minded agenda. Pan soon afterwards dejected the Evolian Princess from his house in the hands of suspicious guards to escort her. She was rescued by one of the New Breed by teleportation. They took refuge at Blue Mountain at Plath Valley; her fathers' abandoned home. Their unseen entrance into Blue Mountain is due to a crash from the sky that happened not far from Terra. There she found a secret room where her mothers' private journal was kept. In it on the last page was a key toward a secret that may have led to her death. Her mother saw a mysterious bright object fall from the sky overhead Gate 6. That is where Casey would go.
While she was gone Shin would rescue the others and bring them to Blue Mountain and await her return. Casey was afraid of her unwelcome entrance in Gate 6, as the humans there were distrustful of the Terran Evos. She was relieved to find their leader Shelly knew her well and provided her with hospitality and attention to her dilemma. She would discover through Shelly that there existed a dark wood where the crash occurred that has since been spoiled by foul magic. Accompanied with guards Casey discovered a girl in the wood who was ethereal and powerful beyond measure. Casey connected with her and knew the girl as Isobel. One who was foreign to this world and herself yearning for a similar truth as Casey.

Casey felt a disturbance from Terra through Pan, a cry for help. As they made their way back they discovered Shelly was murdered by her own people for allowing Casey in Gate 6 and soon they would be executed as well. Isobel pulled Casey into deep shadow and blindly warped backwards into time and space barely escaping with their lives, landing into the forests of Terra hours before Casey’s' original arrival at Gate 6. Isobel dared not warp again in her excited state. They made their way carefully back to Blue Mountain where Isobel was introduced and began their new missions. One team led by Casey, would answer Pans' distress call while Isobel would lead a team back to Gate 6 and stop Shelly’s' assassination.

Casey and the New Breed would soon discover that Pans' path toward the crash site was riddled with the stench of corruption as they found bruised and tortured humans outside of their broken homes. Once they arrived at the scene, which was grotesquely abnormal, they saw that it was a lure by a dark force that infected Pans' psyche and gradually the earth as well.

Shelly was swiftly rescued by Isobel under slim odds. As they made their escape from Gate 6, Isobel felt a telepathic signal from Casey. The New Breed were in heated battle with Pan and his trusted guards under the influence of an unknown force. Var was severely injured by Pan and Casey was forced to summon untapped power within her to distract them while she made a retreat. She telepathically warned Isobel not to follow them and to return to Blur Mountain and await their return.

The world quickly grew horrifically dark with chaotic storms tearing around them. Casey telekinetically carried them blindly through until Skye scouted a strange abandoned building below. Casey soon discovered to her shock that this was a secret lair of Casey’s' fathers' mentor. To their fortune, the building was full of advanced medical equipment to sustain Vars life. However, one of the New Breed needed to remain by his side and psychically aid his rejuvenation. The rest separated and explored the place. Casey who was already exhausted retired in what was once her fathers' room. The other two deliriously explored the main halls. They came across a free dimensional warp hole past the corridor. They slowly entered an isolated realm where they discovered an old Evo named Rah who has been living in exile since Elijah's death. He felt responsible somehow. Through Muses' timeless wisdom and concern for their situation Rah was inspired for the first time in 20 years to give aid through his wisdom and power. They quickly learned from him that this entity had assumed silent influence of the structure.

Its first assault was upon Ruj and Var. Slowly Var began to disappear from the room as all light steadily diminished voices crept through Rujs' mind gnawing after her sanity. Casey experienced her own visions beginning with her father through a mysterious blue screen that morphed into a tangible Var. They instantly, magically joined in a sexual, silently romantic and spiritual connection. Soon Rah, Skye and Muse returned to their contemporary plane to discover the room where Var and Ruj were left was possessed by a dark entity that morphed the room into a realm of disturbing dimensions and visions. They entered under telekinetic protection bracing themselves for a psychic war. It was one that would have killed all of them if not for Muses' self sacrifice.

Casey was awoken by a knock on the door. It was Skye, Rah and Ruj. Rah she was surprised to discover was one of her fathers' classmates but even more so was the news of Rujs' catatosis, Muses' suicide attack and Vars odd disappearance or involvement. Casey quickly dressed in her fathers' uniform and came across a cleverly hidden medallion within the right sleeve. The medallion channeled a star guardian from another dimension who mystically introduced herself to the Evolian Princess and revealing what lies ahead of the road for her and her kind. Through Galadriena, Casey knew her destiny, her true identity and connection with the star beings of the universe through her fathers' bloodline; a rare, strong and divine race which descends from all life, Evos and humans. A time is drawing near as the universe becomes more vulnerable where a fallen star child craves to usurp the natural power of the universe and define it in its own terms for its own selfish needs. Casey is the descendent of the Star children who is destined to save the universe from corruption and liberate it for everyone.

With Rahs' light to guide the way through the chaos and darkness their world was subdued under, Casey and the remaining New Breed flew back to Blue Mountain. There Casey learned from Isobel that those susceptible to the shadows below were touched with madness from the black magic that infects their earth. Casey’s' main focus was protecting the tortured from their own destructive illusionistic nightmares as well as fighting off the creatures that crept from the darkest corners of the abyss. After a brutal battle Casey, Isobel and Rah managed to save a horde of humans and Sidra leading them into the haven of Blue Mountain.

Ruj who is now known as Myandi showed visions of worldwide living nightmares, just as the one now surrounding Blue Mountain. Casey and Isobel decided that since they have an upper hand against the Dark Star with the combined forces of human and Sidra opposition they would set out toward a hidden Sidra domain, where the north evos dwell, with Shelly and a group of humans with Rah lighting the way. The rest stayed behind in the mountain to watch over the refugees and to keep a portal open through Myandi in case someone is discovered injured or if the team is harmed along the way.

The North Evos were understandably overprotective but allowed Casey, Isobel , Shelly and a few evos to enter. During a heating discussion between the Evolian Princess and the North Evo leaders after a long wait it was agreed between the two societies that Rah and the New Breed would protect the North Evos from the threat of the Dark Star until Casey returned from Gate 6 with Shelly, Isobel, Tetsu, Kira and news of alliance.

During their journey toward Gate 6, Casey encountered a chilling astral form of Var in the Grey woods. Tetsu, during the middle of the trip, went into a nervous catatonic meltdown that Isobel tended to in an unconventional way (even for an evo) that led him to become evo himself. By the time they had arrived at Gate 6, everything had changed to the point where the city was unrecognizable, even to Shelly. There had been an extreme industrial and technological advancement since the presence of the Dark Star. It was assumed by Casey that Gate 6 has been under its influence for some time now. She would find her assumption correct as they entered a huge black archaic tower that they were being lured into a trap by Shelly’s' former advisor who usurped her power after she was rescued from his assassination on her under the influence of the Dark Star.

This was the beginning of the Cosmic War. The Dark Star itself facing the New Star through a huge black screen with Vars voice behind it entranced the guards to their own dismay. The Dark Star never anticipated an Omega to be present yet. Isobel drew first blood before the machine that channeled the Dark Star would be destroyed. Casey, Shelly, Isobel Tetsu and Kira were against the entire city of Gate 6,who were crazed under the influence of the Dark Star. Shelly was killed during battle. Tetsu avenged her ruthlessly as he first unleashed his newfound powers. Casey soon gained the confidence of the Gate 6 humans by proving a rare and deep connection achieved between Sidra and Human.

Soon after they would all journey back toward Blue Mountain and the North Sidra to finish the War. They found they could pass no further than the North Sidra domain where Rah and the New Breed awaited their Queen. The black shadow wall of the Dark Star loomed over the land into the darkness. Casey challenged the voice behind the myriad of eyes in the darkness. It was agreed that the wall would cease advancing if Isobel either accompanied by Casey or not would enter the shadow wall.

Through the terrible void under protection of their psychic shields, they found their way to a mystical garden that existed in a realm free from the trappings of time. Var met them hovering above a silver pond, where they would travel back into time, where humanity first thrived (Evos were in existence eons before they). There they had witnessed the discovery of creating fire by an alpha in an overwhelming human population (humans usually outnumbered Evos in the beginning of the third and second era). There was a moment of jealousy from a human who desired the girl who favored the Sidra. In a heated battle the human killed the evo followed by the lifemates vengeance and her suicide.

Vars purpose to bring the Sidra  girls backward through their era was to expose the needless violence, ignorance and ugliness of the human race and their constant threat to the Sidra race because of it. Casey and Isobel both secretly refused to accept influence from their corrupted friend humoring him along the way. Their next quantum journey would be slightly advanced but nowhere near an evos level. It was here the two Evos witnessed the most gruesome sin committed by the human race. Two lovers, a human and an evo  who was a talented painter and healer happened to be working on written language when he was interrupted by his wooing lover who was surprised to see a nude portrait of herself on the smooth rocky wall inside the cave by their tiny waterfall. Their romantic musings were soon interrupted by three huge, oafish muscular brutes that were jealous of the evo to begin with, ordering him to leave their forest. The evo agreed bringing the girl with him. The humans responded violently, brutally killing the evo and mercilessly raping the girl eventually leading her to suicide.

After this episode Casey grew more outraged knowing var was purposely showing terrible moments to convince them to accept his side. She made a secret pact with Isobel that in the next journey they would somehow escape and find their way toward the Dark Star through time as well as change history for the better. They arrived next at ancient Egypt by Isobels’ influence unbeknownst to both Var and Casey. Looking for a chance to escape before Var discovers Isobel’s interference, he is knocked unconscious psychically by an outside force. Meketaten summons them from a distance revealing her hand in Vars current state. Quickly she escorted them to Queen Nefertiti and Akhenaton where they learned that they were part of a prophecy in ancient Egypt and that Isobel is the conduit in which the time portal that inherently connects points in time to coincide with the apex unification of the universe.

Soon Levi would track them down to the pyramid of Giza as they are being led to the secret chamber. The royal guards and family (who are Sidra as well) engage Var to spare time for the two alpha girls to meet their destiny. Akhenaton is killed in battle of Nefertiti assumes his form. Var continues to hunt the girls. Sensing Var is fast on their trail, the girls split up in different tunnels. Isobel finds the secret room and is transformed into an omnipotent being as the pyramid itself channels energy from her into the heavens, creating the most immense time wormhole. Casey and Var were in a violent battle with each other during this and were sucked into the portal themselves.

Rah could see an image of Isobel burning through the abyss and gave the order for the entire Sidra to enter the black wall. It was weakening. Isobel awoke in the time of the Incan Empire when the Spaniards invaded. She saved them from extinction by eradicating their attackers. Recognizing her as one of their gods from a lost prophecy, a shaman guided her to a temple to continue her journey through time. Rah and the New Breed entered the era of the second World War and accidentally shielded Japan from a U.S. nuclear attack, sending the projectile back toward the U.S., changing history by giving Japan the upper hand in the war to eventually conquer the U.S. and eventually the entire planet. Another porthole opened after the rift in history and Rah followed it, along with the New Breed.

Due to Isobels’ fresh omnipotence, the time space continuum was in disarray. Casey and Evo eventually entered the land of Israel during the sentencing of a man named Jesus Christ, who was the most powerful Evo Casey, had ever witnessed. Sensing his thoughts, She could feel that his death would have a morbid influence upon the world for ages to come. She saw her chance to alter history and took it but was tackled by Var and summoned all of his force to pull her into another dimension. The realm of the Dark Star.

Isobel entered the altered state of 2001,September 11th. She awoke from a secret tomb deep underneath what is now known as the Freedom Towers. With each passage through time, Isobel physically changes and becomes more powerful than before. Japanese/American troops were waiting above the hatch where Isobel arose, which they were not expecting. Their mission was to retrieve an ancient artifact that is below the towers secretly during a terrorist stage. Little did they know that Isobel was the secret. The confrontation was horrifically clean and violent. Isobel foiled the terrorist stage telekinetically driving the mothership away from crashing into the Freedom Towers, landing it safely in Battery Park where the Japanese occupied U.S. military finally captured Isobel. She was escorted onto the presidential jet and imprisoned under the watch of an evo who secretly aided her during the flight.

Casey faced an extremely cornered imprisonment. In the realm of the Dark Star who presented himself to Casey under the guise of Pan, her former mentor, he and Var were intent on her joining with them. The Dark Star even intended on intense sexual enclosure with the Evolian  princess to alter the seed Var had already planted within her, as her vision with Isobel had warned.

The entire U.S./Japanese armada had finally arrived at the gate of Ishtar in the ancient ruins of Baghdad where Isobel is prophesized to unleash a powerful secret, societies around the world have been fighting to uncover. Isobel connected with the ancient eye of Babylon opening a portal in which Rah and the New Breed appeared from and eradicated the entire U.S./Japanese armada. Soon after Isobel unlocked the secret power of the city. It was a gateway connection, a conduit network of portals to any time and dimension in the universe existing in one city (a vortex dimension centered upon the ancient ruins of the world). Isobel could see windows to different moments in time of every dimension, when and where the highest concentration of magi centered as the stars aligned in perfect symmetry in which they were able to exist in the vortex. Isobel centered herself precisely in line with the eye of Babylon, grazing upon every wormhole, allowing her spirit to peak through every alternate time existence in the universe searching for the whereabouts of Casey.

During her search Isobel discovered many startling secrets of the continuum. Before the time of Babylon existed another era of humanity and Sidra.Isobel finally found Casey sensing her in an alternate future in a clouded dimension. She led the New Breed to save their Queen. They had to pass through many uncertain doorways and dark portals within the Dark Stars realm to find Casey in an enclosed realm where they hellishly fought grotesque minions to finally save their Queen from being violated by the terrible Fallen Star. It was a ravenously merciless battle that killed Mr. Enokidi, leaving Isobel  a smoldering black walking skeleton draining Vars energy. With the little strength Isobel had left she pulled her heart that has gained omnipotence in knowledge and power of the universe through her quest and fed half of it to Casey. Casey erupted with a delicate but powerful shockwave that slowed time into a lullaby of peace. All of the acquired knowledge and collective consciousness of divine souls from countless eras and dimensions of existence flourished deep within the hearts of Isobel and Casey.

Before Isobel had left with Casey into the shadow wall she had opened a gateway with her heart, that channel was opened from the deity’s’ realm where Isobel and Casey were to Tetsu where the black rift first interrupted time to every focal point of dimensional universal time and space where Isobel  and the New Breed had entered and on occasion were recognized as the keepers of the universe. All of the energy came rushing out of Isobels’ heart tearing through the fabric of time, matter and anti-matter with gentle grace. This energy was comprised of a collective consciousness gathered throughout the ends of inter-dimensional time and space brought together by and protected through one heart once bitten by the most empathetic soul in the universe. Casey channeled their hopes, dreams and intimate being throughout the vastness of existence, re-animating and defining the universe through complete spiritual freedom of the collective consciousness.

The Dark Star regaining its strength raced to stop Isobel but was destroyed by the last of Vars strength. Soon the universe was free to define itself naturally through the mutual co-existence of spirits within it. The realm of the Dark Star was turning in on itself. Casey and the New Breed saved those caught by the shadow wall and escaped into the portal back to the realm of timelessness where they would return home to a new and beautiful world. Isobel was nowhere to be found. Var died in Casey’s arms back in the new world leaving behind an unborn child. The new utopian world was now guided by their heroine Casey Kaye, introducing with Tetsu as an example that there exists a deep connection between human and alpha since the beginning of time as mentioned to her by a fellow star child, Galadriena.

Book 10
Lucien: Curse of the Dark Star.
Written and created by
Jesse S. Montalto

Casey gives birth to a boy who is a rare and dangerous breed of Omega. His name is Lucien and this poor child was born at an arms distance from a Sidra dominated world that knows, hates and fears him. Ironically his mother who keeps at bay from her exceptionally odd son rules this world. His tragic birth defect, which is the cause of controversy throughout the remaining years of his mothers' rule, is his life draining energy that seems to be boundless as well as insatiable by it's own wild natural force. Lucien has been haunted by his deformity since he could care to remember. It is equally torturing for his mother to endure knowing that despite his grotesque power, Lucien is an exact opposite as a person. He is a child who hardly says a word, who is shy and painfully gentle in attitude.

The birth of Lucien causes the upheaval of Terran Utopia his mother helped create for the world of human and evo. She had previously established an agreed peaceful compromise between the two races. Since a Dark Star known as Isobel (who has long since vanished since the "rising") tapped into a dormant consciousness shared between human and Sidra that links the two into a new race that magnifies particular attributes of one another. Casey allows this new transference to continue if both parties wish it (although it's too late to deny) the presence of a Dark Star symbolizes great changes within the universe interdimensionally. Even more disturbing is Lucien’s' ability for mass elimination by simply existing. Many experts of spiritual dimensional, meta-physical and time-space phenomenon came to a cryptic conclusion that before "the rising" when Var (Lucien’s' father who was abducted by Pan, who was also abducted astrally by a false god) impregnated Casey, an immense and vital essence of that same terrible power lives and grows stronger within her son.

One day despite his greatest efforts to resist and fight its' resurgence it will eventually overwhelm him and revive what Casey and the New Breed fought so relentlessly to obliterate. Many within the new high order urge their Queen to forever quarantine her son or put him to rest. Casey seeks out her own methods, condemning her council of their fearful” solutions".

Being known as outwardly human friendly and compassionate, Casey seeks out the human Senate for help. She allows the humans to legally continue their technological advancement, as long as the rehabilitation of her son remains their main objective. The humans take advantage of the Queens' desperation. While still respecting her wishes, they secretly use their privileged research for their own agenda (Artificial Intelligence Experiments) There grows a distaste for the queen on both parts in the Sidra community, who slander her as a human loving traitor as well as a harborer of evil forces (her son). Many saw her as a pathetic illogical mother desperately trying to salvage her dangerously ill son, ignoring her duty as Queen of Terra and protecting the lives of countless beings from the threatening force that exists within Lucien. Many humans share this view as well. Heated emotions still arose between them due to historically conflicting views on life.

Lucien grew up surrounded by hateful, fearful and overall miserable people, in exception for his mother who nurtures him with kindness, deep love, respect and adoration. She is all that compliments an ideal mother. She inspires him with faith, self-respect and perseverance. He surrenders his entire heart to her only. When she suddenly died, any hope the world might have had rested on his shoulders but to everyone’s perception he was a symbol of the end.........and so it would be. To him the feeling is mutual, especially the way they had treated him and his mother his entire life escalating to her death. They poisoned her heart in his mind because of him, which drove her to her death. It is obvious the way they hastily bury her and assumed power over him to end human technological development, which in turn leads to a brutal world civil war.

Lucien perceives all of them as hopeless and condemns their direction of power, especially those who drove his mother to death as they turned toward him blaming his powers as the reason for the demise of Casey. In turn he agrees with their decision to terminate himself only to catch them at their most relaxed and vulnerable, unleashing his power from the device that allows him to exist without damaging those around him. He discovers during his years living within the restraining device that he is able to psychically connect with other advanced machines rising out of the human ash. He links with a specific artificial intelligent being which guides him from his palace into the heart of human territory in the middle of an evo-human civil war and toward the beginning of a war the world has ever witnessed.........a world\interdimensional war of spirit against flesh against metal..........but none are a match for the end.   Lucien turns into a one-man army against his planet, which is already in despair on its way down an unavoidable descent. He remembers his mother and her wisdom throughout his journey.   " Have faith in your own will" she said "find your destiny even as the world crumbles around you."

As soon as the Great War between metal and flesh begins, he arrives at the humans' domain. There he discovers the identity of the other voice from his COM link. It is not of a particular female A.I. who has been calling out through the net wire for help (who he falls in love with) but of an ancient false deity who remembers Lucien’s' bloodline well. Soon the entire planet would be covered in bloodshed and artificial human infants crawling over one another, much like the old vision the Omega known as Isobel once had. Lucien was the catalyst for this apocalypse. The death of his mother and the events surrounding his birth furthered the black hole that already existed within him. There seemed to be no hope in filling his heart with any peace until he met and joined with the A.I.

Near the end of the world’s genocide of human and alpha they fell in love above the ashes of the unfortunate and created a child like none that had ever entered the universe. They kept close council with a mysterious dark hooded person whose' face was covered in thick darkness. At that moment the Deity reveals itself through the remaining A.I.s, excluding Lucien’s' love. He reveals himself as the one true god that has been consistently defiled by Lucien’s' bloodline. Along the line, however, before Casey defeated him, he infected Lucien’s' father with his corrupted influence remaining in legacy through Lucien as a child (nearly killing his mother through birth alone)

The revived deity laughed over Lucien’s silent horror. All the aspiring god had to do was await for the birth of the new species from the A.I. This child would carry the Dark Stars' seed which would carry the incomplete seed of the diety allowing him to enter the child and consume its' life essence. This action would break the defining properties of the universe altering every interdimensional pattern into a suggestive state allowing anyone powerful enough to claim it forever. The deity allowed the birth to occur within the ashes of the fallen world. The child was born in perfect and ideal angelic aesthetic. The parents smiled with warm and loving unity with their child, despite the sadness surrounding them. The moment was broken by the deity’s' advance. Lucien halted the false god in furious defiance. A brutal earth shattering battle that would last mere moments, despite Lucien’s' most acute and deadliest efforts proved no match for the Deity.

Skin shredded and bloodied Lucien crawled toward his love and their beautiful child. The fathers' self-sacrifice proved not to be in vain. Their previous battle was merely enough to distract the demon being from being aware of a familiar entity that lurked beneath the ground. Black slender arms broke through the mud pulling the child underground. The parents were horrified momentarily until they recognized the figure that rose again with their baby daughter. The deity’s' final flaw was his carelessness in dismissing Lucien’s' hooded companion as a disfigured Sidra or A.I.   He also blew her deep into the ground when he first attacked Lucien with a mountain-fisted shockwave.

The mysterious figure ordered the parents to reach toward the child.  Once they were all connected by touch, a rift in time and space broke the root of the cumulative source of ultra-dimensional matter and anti-matter destroying everything around them except for the hearts' of the mysterious figure, the baby who both turned out to be Isobel and her parents. The universe was completely obliterated through every possibility of dimensional reality, leaving only the combined new being that was formed by the joining of Isobels’ future and birth, as well as drawing upon the essence of her parents and expelling the forces that drove against them and those before. Once the joining is complete very pure path is nurtured within this new being and then released its' new defined liberated formula into existence. With respect to the core dual nature of the universe and its' fundamental make-up, Isobel had to accept certain sacrifices.

In order for all of the true children of the stars to exist within a self-redefined universe, Isobel had to become a spiritual and physical conduit of everyone’s' pure and natural essence throughout the new universe. She could be found by anyone and respected. Everyone is aware of her greater sacrifice for them. Within the woods, deep in Terra, Isobel is seen catatonically grafted to a father tree centering the woods, pointing toward the sun. She never cries, laughs, smiles, frowns, whispers or screams. She is the perseverance of purity, strength of countless visions, immortality of the heart, timeless beauty, complexity of life and mother of existence. Those who look on to her would cry, laugh, shout, smile with her (for her) and live for her through the existence she has allowed them to experience without oppression of any form...even from themselves.
